Pipeline Technician
* Ran and maintained a wide variety of projects involving different sized pipelines with an extensive selection of such products including, Crude, Anhydrous Ammonia, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Natural Gas, JP5, LPG, Water, and so on.
* Learned and have since kept up to date with DOT regulations for the different types of products.
* Preformed leak surveys, maintained valves, risers, and stations, cleared and mowed ROW's, oversaw the One Call and cathodic protection, for several Company's while abiding by all safety and DOT regulations.
* Preformed many Leak Detection surveys using SF6 gas, also preformed many hydro pressure test while using this product.
* Calculated all flow rates, while determining the different variables, needed for the displacement.
* Implemented a data base for 180 mile stretch of Tejas Gas pipeline. This is still being used by the employee's and contractors.
* Oversaw and directly participated in some of the largest and most impressive Electronically Pigging projects in the North Western States.
* Directly participated in the revisement of blueprints and other data resources with GPS coordinates.
* Created specific spreadsheets designed for the Maintenance and Contracting personnel, which in turn sped up productivity resulting in higher profit margins.
