Arab Gas Pipeline Project in Syria (Contract on construction of 324 km, 36" gas pipeline).
Responsibilities: Develop and implement a quality management system (Quality Plan, HSE Plan) with all related procedures and guidelines. Assure compliance with all design documents, procurement documents, relevant codes and project specifications. Review the construction procedures and QA/QC records prepared by inspectors and Execution Contractors. Monitor all inspectors' activities for welding, NDT, coating, pipe lay, fiber optic cable installation, pigging, hydrostatic testing, civil, cathodic protection, commissioning. Participate in the weekly construction review meetings. Take part in review and acceptance of Construction Dossier and As-built documentation. IT support and updating of QA/QC electronic database. Coach, mentor, train, and develop assigned staff and subcontracted personnel.
