Career Summary
About Twelve years experience in the field of Engineering Analysis and Structure Designing comprising of Buildings, Bridges, Underground Metro project and Offshore Structures.
In offshore Engineering, I am presently employed with Nama Mott MacDonald as Offshore Structural Engineer at Au Dhabi. Previously I was employed with Saipem Triune Engineering-New Delhi and was involved in design of Floating Platforms (FPSO's). Was also involved in Engineering design/design coordination with Samsung Heavy Industry (SHI), Korea at Aker Kvaerner Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for ONGC BCPA-2 (8 Legged) Process Platform.

I have experience of carrying out In place, Lifting, transportation, load Out analysis using SACS for designing FPSO's, fixed platforms, topsides, jackets for clients such as Modec, ONGC, Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA) and ZADCO.
Software used includes STAAD Pro, ANSYS, SACS for Modelling and Analysis of offshore structures and AutoCAD.

Project Presently Working on: Western Area Development (WAD) Part of the overall Upper Zakum Full Field Development Project in Abu Dhabi Marine fields.
Extension/addition of the topside structures along with checking strength of the existing deck/jacket structure corresponding to additional Gas & Water Injection / Gas Lift topsides facilities. Up gradation of control systems i.e. converting all pneumatic instruments/drives to Hydraulic/Electrical. Installation of top drill deck at one of the platforms and checking the strength of existing deck/jacket structure.

Job Responsibilities / Analysis carried out:
- Offshore visit to the platforms to analyze the feasibility of the deck extensions/additions
- Coordination with other disciplines /client for getting existing / new load data
- Modelling of complete platform existing deck /Jacket including new deck extensions, conductors, risers, boat landing etc. in SACS
- Application of dead, live, unmodelled loads, equipments, piping, environmental loads; providing marine growth, Cd, Cm values using Member/Group Overrides for unmodelled handrails etc.
- Deck In place analysis using SACS and generation of design document.
- Jacket In place analysis using SACS and generation of design document.
- New drill deck lifting analysis using SACS and generation of design document.
- New drill deck transportation analysis with Noble Denton criteria using SACS and generation of design document.
- Joint design, Ring design and stiffener design of new Upper drill deck.
- Generation of Weight control report for the respective platform.
- Getting drawings generated in AutoCAD, checking of the drawings.
- Getting the analysis / design document / drawings approved from client ZADCO and Third Party.

Addition of 10 New Wells on five nos. Existing Zakum WHT's in Zakum Field.
Client: Gulf Piping Company / Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company

Project Brief:
Abu Dhabi marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) undertook development of Zakum field Tamama IV. It was decided to add 10 additional slots on the existing five WHT's in the Zakum field. Gulf Piping Company (GPC) is the EPC contractor for the said project. GPC hired the services of Mott MacDonald in Engineering / Design for the provision of 10 new slots in the existing 5 WHT's.

Extension of the topside structures along with checking strength of the existing deck/jacket structure corresponding to additional equipments/ piping weights was to be carried out by structures.

Job Responsibilities / Analysis carried out:
- Coordination with other disciplines /client for getting existing / new load data

BCPA-2 is ONGC's New Process Platform in Mumbai High Field. It is Eight legged Platform with Module Supporting Frame (MSF) and Building Module and three Booster Compressor Modules viz. SHI – Korea had got the EPC contract of the said platform. The Design of the Jacket, MSF and Building Module was done at Kvaerner office in Kuala Lumpur while the Compressor Modules were designed by IV Engineering at Norway.

Job Responsibilities at Kvaerner Office in Malaysia:

- Design Coordination with Aker Kvaerner (Engineering Consultant), Engineers India Limited (EIL) – Proof Consultant, JRM - Installation Contractor, OHCS– Offshore Hook Up Contractor (OHCS) & Other Agencies.
- Carrying out Local Calculations, Joint design, designs and coordinating with SHI yard.

Worked on Analysis & Design of the different Modules / Pipe Racks of the FPSO.

Metro Corridor Contract MC1B of DMRC – This is an underground metro corridor 6.5 km long tunnel (bored/cut & cover) starting from ISBT to Central Secretariat, which covers six underground stations 12.85 to 20 m below ground level.
As a part of the design team, involved in the design of steel structures for Construction / Traffic decking to support heavy construction equipments/traffic, structures to support sewer/water pipes, telecom & power cables during underground station shaft construction, struts, Waller beams, runner beams etc. Also involved in the RCC design of cut & cover tunnel.
