„± Engineering and Commissioning of Control and Instrumentation system for Inter Refineries Pipeline Project consists of three 233 km long pipelines of 10", 12" and 16" size between Abu Dhabi Refinery and Ruwais Refinery in UAE with storage at Mussafah, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Principal Duties:
„± Involved in Review and Finalization of P&IDs, I/O List, Cause and Effect Diagram, Logic Diagram, Logic Narratives, Logic Write ups for DCS/ESD system and implementation of the same with proper coordination with vendors.
„± Review and Finalize vendor generated documents such as Functional Design Description, Detail Design Specification, System cabinet and termination drawings.
„± Prepare As Built documents (such as Instrument Loop Diagram, GA Drawing etc) in order to establish smooth hand over of the project.
„± Involved in reviewing Factory Acceptance Test Procedures, Integrated FAT along with Site Installation and Acceptance Test of DCS/ESD system and successfully carried out the above tests (Implementation & verification of logics with Engineering Diagram & Wiring Diagram and installation datasheets / specifications) with optimum Schedule & cost impacts.
„± Study project scope and specifications (including P&IDs, design documents, drawings such as wiring diagram, interconnection diagram, cause and effect diagram, I/O lists, logic write ups, alarm and set point summary list, cable schedule, instrumentation index etc), identify inadequacies if any in engineering documents, vendor supplied drawings and the system installed in field.
„± Review of precommissioning procedure, loop folders developed by construction/QA/QC and prepare commissioning procedure in line with the vendor recommendation, carry out inspection of systems, and develop punch list with an objective of achieving safe and flawless commissioning and operation.
„± Responsible for commissioning and operation of the following control system (DCS/ESD/SCADA/RTU) by means of proper coordination with various system vendors at different stages of project to fulfill SAT and ISAT.
* Honeywell Experion PKS C200 Distributed Control System: (used in pipeline automation in Abu Dhabi Refinery) knowledge of engineering tools such as configuration studio for control builder using FBDs, HMI Web Display Builder, Quick Builder, perform loop checks with third party systems through RS 485 communication link and OPC link, perform cause and effect checks and demonstrating the same to client, carry out various modification in graphics as well as logic to meet stringent process requirement, perform SIT/SAT activities with client and PMC as a part of acceptance of the system, perform tie in of DCS built in Experion platform with the existing DCS in TPS platform through ESVT server and Domain controller, involved in the up gradation of existing TDC 3000 system.
* Invensys I/A Series Distributed Control System: (used in pipeline automation in Mussafah terminal) used for oil movement and management, thoroughly conversant with applications such as Tank Inventory System (TIS), Movement Automation System (MAS), Order Movement and Management (OMM) application package, involved in FAT and IFAT of the system, hands on experience of commissioning of I/A Series 8.0x system, which includes system integration with third party system with Modbus Serial Link (RS 485) and OPC communication interface, perform loop check as well as cause and effect check and demonstrating the same to client, perform the checking of system behavior in meeting different control narratives, carry out major modifications in logic and process display in order to meet stringent process requirements, perform SIT/SAT as per approved vendor document, conversant with engineering tools like IACC (I/A Series Configuration Component) for control configuration, Fox Draw for building process display and Fox View, use of FCP 270 and integration with process by means of different high speed (2 Mbps) 200 series FBMs,
* ICS Triplex TMR PLC: (used as ESD in terminal Abu Dhabi Refinery terminal) knowledge of IEC 1131 toolset built in IEC 61131-3 programming standard for build up ESD related logic using FBD, carry out FAT, IFAT and commissioning of Trusted TMR system and perform logic checks as well as demonstrating the same to client with cause and effects to achieve valuable progress in projects, perform valuable change in logic to meet stringent process requirements.
* Triconex TMR PLC Tristation 1131: (used as ESD in terminal Mussafah terminal) involve in FAT and IFAT of the system, hands on experience of commissioning of Tristation 1131 system (a 3-2-1-0 type SIL 3 TMR PLC), adept at programming of ESD related logics using Tristation 1131 Developer's Workbench which is an integrated tool for developing and testing of various process control application for Tricon controller, carry out various logic modification as recommended by cause and effect and logic diagram, perform logic checks as well as demonstrating the same to client with cause and effects to achieve valuable progress in projects, perform valuable change in logic to meet stringent process requirements, perform SIT/SAT activities with client and PMC as a part of acceptance of the system.
„± Responsible for commissioning and operation of various process instrumentation (level, temperature, flow, pressure etc) of various international repute like Endress Hauser, Rosemount etc.

* Enraf Advance Tank Gauging System
