Our current role is maintenance of existing plant equipment for necessary repair to production machinery quickly and economically and anticipate these repair.

Detail as follows:

2006- present: Lead of Electric/Instrument Engineer for the following sub plant: Copper Smelter, Casting, Row material handling, off shore equipment and Utility.
1. Arrange work schedule of shutdown activity and guide foreman to execute their work to achieve the effectiveness and done economically.
2. Joint on 3rd expansion project engineering to pick up the current performance and it problem related with up grading capacity.
3. Issue the work order to outside contractor in case big modification or expansion project. And estimate the volume, time and cost of work.
4. Following up all kind of problem / work from shift coverage, and make schedule for permanent repair.
5. Re-engineering for repeated problem on machine, and improve their environment to achieved highest reliability of equipment.
6. Prepare the need of equipment overhaul and select the priority of these works.

2002- 2006: Senior Electric/Instrument Engineer, Anode Furnace and Continues Casting Machine.
* Lead the Maintenance Integrity team in Electric and Instrument Maintenance Section especially for Anode Furnace and Casting area.
* Improve sequential of Hazelette continues strip casting. Develop new emergency stop system to increase machine reliability and remove trouble that caused by human error.
* Increase the performance of casting success ratio from 84% (1997-2002) up to 99.99% (2004 until now) by additional reject system, modify pneumatic valve and hydraulic system.
* Increase anode good ratio from 78% (1997-2002) to 99% (2005 until now) by sensor improvement and heat control system modification.
* Establish preventive maintenance procedure and develop that procedure in to ISO 9001.

1997-2002: Electric Field Engineer, Raw material handling and Smelter Feeding system
* Lead the Maintenance Integrity team in Electric and Instrument Maintenance Section especially for raw material handling system.
* Responsible for improve performance of equipment (ship loader, grab un-loader, air compressor, conveying material, sea water pump, power distribution, remote instrument, etc).
* Field engineer for commissioning of raw material handling and utility plan

1. Replace PLC CPU with Q-series
2. Replace Network Melsecnet II to Melsecnet H

Improve Hazelette Continues Strip Casting machine ( 2003-2004)
1. Modify Synchronization system to improve anode good ratio
2. Modify heat control topology to increase controllability of product.
3. Design new mechanical sensors for detect anode synchronization.
4. Applied Optical laser sensor for anode strip temperature measurement.

Improve Shear machine (Continues casting) (2004)
1. Installation Citect HMI and trending data for troubleshooting.
2. Modify hydraulic servo control to improve life of servo unit.

Citect HMI configuration (2004)
1. Modify Citect server become distributed server to increase redundancy communication system and install primary / secondary server on one network to backup trending data.
2. Setting acquisition data speed to increase reliability of citect performance.

Ship Loader/Unloader (2001)
Commissioning team for handover grab unloader system. Improve performance on jetty and wharf conveying system. Set speed parameters for extend life of grab facility.

Field Instrument (2000-2001)
Joint with Great Maintenance Team to manage several capital projects included detail engineering, installation and commissioning. Calculate Flow meter such as orifice sizing, pitot tube design and small flow meter sizing.

High Temperature sensor ( 2004)
Design thermocouple S-type with Curimax shield (high chrome) to measure 1000DegC off gas. Calculate optical laser sensor to measure anode strips at casting area (up to 980 DegC).

PLC and DCS configuration (2004)
Connected the PLC MELSEC-A to the FCS by communication package link ACM11 or ACM12. The accessible devices of the MELSEC-A CPU are Input relay, output relay, internal relay, link relay, data register, counter.

Modbus DCS configuration (2003)
Connected Yamato scale to SCIU communication interface unit by ACM12 RS-422/485 module using modbus protocol, which is used as an I/O module for the FCS

MCC for LV motor and Switch gear for High voltage motor (6 kV)
1. Maintenance MCC and Switch gear
2. Calculation of MCC and Switchgear for New motor

Cathodic protection system (2000-2002)
1. Design Calculate cathodic probe for wharf system.
2. Calculate current nominal for Jetty & wharf protection system.
3. Measure and record potential values of the structures relative to the reference electrodes.
4. Adjust the DC output of each transformer if necessary.
