Domestic and international experience includes 16 years in Prudhoe Bay and adjacent giant fields of the North Slope, Alaska, 2-1/2 years U.S. Rocky Mountains basins, 2 years international work, and an extensive industry-training portfolio.
Broad appraisal, development and production skills include subsurface mapping of complex reservoirs, integration of geologic, geophysical, petrophysical, and engineering data, applied 3D seismic interpretation, probabilistic and deterministic original and remaining reserves analysis, reservoir and production engineering support, and horizontal drilling planning and operations experience.
Accustomed to working in multi-disciplinary teams in a variety of field settings, including carbonate and sandstone reservoirs from appraisal to mature field stage. Experienced in designing and implementing data acquisition programs for exploration, appraisal, and development programs. Applied background in core and thin section description, and stratigraphic and depositional environment interpretation of carbonate and sandstone reservoirs. Extensive drilling experience includes well site geology and well site geology supervision, wire line, LWD, and cased hole log interpretation, extended reach and short radius horizontal sidetrack well planning and geo-steering operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organized, and a team player.
Expertise in a range of gescience software, including Landmark Seisworks 3D seismic interpretation, Z-Map+ subsurface mapping, and Stratworks and Geolog petrophysical software. Experience also in Crystal Ball and Pepsy Monte Carlo probabilistic simulation, traditional and computerized pressure transient analysis, Geoquest Eclipse and Landmark 3D View reservoir simulation support, and GIS mapping. Additional computer skills include Windows, Macintosh, and Unix operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and MS Project, PowerPoint, relational databases, and immersive visualization techniques.
