Field Experience

I have a field experience in onshore oil fields in India, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Mozambique. I also got an opportunity to work with leading Indian and foreign drilling teams. During this short span of time, I could familiarize in the designing implementation of various Mud Programs for Onshore Exploration & Development wells. I had very good experience in high angle horizontal wells.

Lab Experience

* I can independently operate all laboratory apparatus and the parameters such as determining Potassium Concentration in Fluid filtrate, total Solids, HTHP fluid loss, Low temperature / Low pressure test, Fully Conversant with Controlling the Rhelogical Mud Properties.

* Performed function and performance testing of mud chemicals to ascertain quality control as per API specifications.

* Carried out performance and integrity test for chemicals, lignosulphonates, CMC, Bentonites, Cellulose derrivatives, resinates, crome based lignins as per API specifications.

Duties

* Control drilling fluid equipments on rigs.
* Maintain & control Mud parameters as per need.
* Control mud check and mud treatment.
* Supervise waste management operations.
* Give the mud tester directives to avoid or recover mud problems.
* Cement job monitoring.
* Plan for chemicals order.
* Work in collaboration with the drilling supervisor.
* Prepare mud guidelines for new wells mud program.
* Well mud recaps analysis.
* Working on optimising mud cost.

Skills

* Experienced in trouble shooting in all drilling situation including high angle and horizontal wells, pressured and reactive shales.
* Drilling fluid programs for vertical and directional wells.
* Experienced Drilling fluid systems: CL-CLS, Fresh water Bentonite, Salt saturated mud, XC Polymer/Nacl/starch, KCl/Resinex high temperature polymer, KCl / PHPA/GLYCOL, Potassium Formate. Nacl, Kcl, Potassium formate completion brine.
* Drilling problems: Lost circulation, stuck pipe, unstable formations, and caving, formations collapse, hole-cleaning optimisation.
* Used various chemicals required for maintaining drilling fluids parameters in high temperature conditions.
* Control solid control equipments: Shale shakers; desilter; Mud cleaner; centrifuge.
