Since Aug 2002 working as Coordinator Telecommunication for one of the famous Oil and Gas Company in Syria - Deir Ez Zor Petroleum Company (A Joint Venture of Syrian Petroleum Company & TOTAL E&P France) Reporting to Field Manager for operational requirement and Head of IST at Head office for technical matters of the communication systems of the field.

Responsible to:
„« Lead a team of 6 members to maintain the Telecommunication equipments of the field
„« Carrying out and conducting analysis, studies, for reviewing and maintaining all telecommunication systems and equipment to a level and standard
„« Ensure that all maintenance procedures and standards are adhered to and make revision of such procedures. Maintain all necessary documentation and update records to facilitate the smooth implementation of work.
„« Maintain records and prepare reports based on IST policy. Preparing mission orders, work orders, maintenance reports, monthly time sheets and work permits and ensure that all work is fully documented.
„« Follow-up on the work activities of vendor's personnel to ensure that maintenance, commissioning and testing work is carried out in accordance with specifications and agreements; presents periodic verbal or written reports to Head of IST.
„« Ensures practical implementation of HSE safety rules and ensures that work places are left clean and tidy.
„« Training of the national staff in operations and repair techniques.

Repairing & servicing of Monitors (Monochrome and colors), Printers (Dot Matrix, LaserJet & Inkjet). Have a good knowledge in PC Hardware Installing, Configuring, Maintaining and Trouble Shooting of PC's and Installation and Maintenance of Local Area Networks. Practical Experience in Design and Implementation of Structured cabling, Installation of Modems, Hubs, Patch Panel, Fiber optic splicing etc.

Remove IT and telecom equipments from Rig locations and re-install them in another location, according to operational and drilling department requirements.

Routine monitoring, adjusting, re-programming of all VHF&UHF radios, repeaters, transmitters and receivers packages. Programming, Installing and dismantling of radio equipments used for communication between Rigs and remote sites. Re-programming and 4th level maintenance (replacement of components) all portable radios. Monitoring, ordering and maintaining the spares requirements and stock level on regular basis.

Second level maintenance of PABX (Switching Systems) and install / configure analogue & digital extensions

Installing, Testing and commissioning of Remote Telemetry units (SCADA), Master Telemetry units, TTUs, Flow computer, Data scanners etc. Auto con panel control wiring and testing parameters, Assembly and internal wiring of telemetry units.

Installing, calibrating, loop checking, commissioning and maintenance (preventive & corrective) of various types of process control instruments, such as Pressure TX (pneumatic & electronics), Temperature TX, Pressure switches, Control valves, Electronic Transducers, Totalizes, Fire and Gas detectors, PLCs, Control and Auto con panel used in Refinery, Petrochemicals and oil process platforms.
