1800 MTPD Ammonia Plant Project, Moron – Venezuela

KBR scope of work for the project is to provide Basic and specified Detail Engineering Design for the Ammonia plant (ISBL) portion of the Moron Petrochemical Complex in Moron, Venezuela. The project execution is split between KBR Houston and KBR Jakarta.

I am assigned as the Work Group Leader of Instrument team in KBR Jakarta. My main responsibility is to ensure all deliverables of Jakarta scope are delivered properly on schedule. To achieve that, I have to coordinate Instrument team properly. I have 2 engineers and 1 designer under my responsibility.

The scopes of works are as follows:
1. Develop Instrument Index and Alarm Summary
2. Develop datasheet for Flow Elements (Orifices, Venturis, Coriolis, Annubars, Rotameters, and Ultrasonics)

KBR scope of work for the project is to provide Basic Engineering Design for the Ammonia plant portion of the Jianfeng Chemicals Fertilizer Project in Fuling, Chonqing, China. The project execution is split between KBR Houston and KBR Jakarta.

I was assigned as the Work Group Leader of Instrument team in KBR Jakarta. My main responsibility is to ensure all deliverables of Jakarta scope are delivered properly on schedule. To achieve that, I have to coordinate Instrument team properly. I have 3 engineers and 1 designer under my responsibility.

2000 MTPD Ammonia Plant Project, CFCL#1 Plant, Rajasthan – India

KBR scope of work for the project is to provide Basic Engineering Design for revamping the existing Ammonia plant of Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. plant #1 at Gadepan in Rajasthan, India. The project execution is split between KBR Houston and KBR Jakarta.

The revamped plant has a design capacity to produce 2000 MTPD warm ammonia product together with 2632 MTPD CO2 byproduct to ensure conversion of the entire ammonia product into urea.

I was assigned as the Work Group Leader of Instrument team in KBR Jakarta. My main responsibility is to ensure all deliverables of Jakarta scope are delivered properly on schedule. To achieve that, I have to coordinate Instrument team properly. I have 3 engineers under my responsibility.

I was assigned in proposal team to prepare preliminary deliverables and summary of price estimation for instrument scope. The last proposal that I was involved to is South Sumatra – West Java (SSWJ) pipeline project.

Pupuk Kujang 1B Project (Fertilizer Plant), Cikampek – Indonesia

I was assigned as a Material Controller for Instrument scope at site in Cikampek, Indonesia. My main responsibility is to record all incoming/outgoing materials from the warehouse. By checking periodically the material stocks, prepared material stokcs balance and develop report on shortage items.

NH3 Tank Storage, Dumai – Indonesia

It was located at Dumai, North Sumatra, Indonesia and owned by PT Sentana Adidaya Pratama. It is a double wall tank assembly with storage capacity of 7500 MT. I was assigned as an Instrument Engineer and my responsibility was to develop datasheets, requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluation for Multipoint Skin Thermocouple and also datasheet for Orifice plates & Flange.

2003 - 2004
Pupuk Iskandar Muda 2 Project, North Aceh – Indonesia
PIM-2 Project located at Lhokseumawe in North Aceh, Indonesia. It was a consortium project between Toyo Engineering Corporation (Japan) with PT. Rekayasa Industri (Indonesia) and Krakatau Engineering (Indonesia). The plant produces 5700,000 MTon/Year granulation urea fertilizers and 396,000 MTon/Year of Ammonia.
I was assigned as a DCS Superintendent in the construction phase until commissioning. During construction phase, my main responsibility was to supervise sub-construction works inside the control room cables pulling, termination, and loop test. During start-up and commissioning phase, together with DCS and ESD vendors, we were doing test, modification and also troubleshooting if required. Also made a report if any modification/changes in DCS and ESD systems for as-built purpose.
2002 - 2003
CO2 Removal Plant Project, Subang – Indonesia

This project is located at Subang, West Java - Indonesia and owned by Pertamina. The project is to build a plant to reduce CO2 contents that contain in gas from Subang. With this plant, CO2 contents of the gas will fulfill the consumer requirement.

It was my first project experience. My responsibility in this project was to develop Instrument Index, Bill of Quantity, Field Instrument datasheets, Requisition and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).
