EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Started with Sonatrach Production Division in October 1988 as completion and work over operations on site supervisor. Currently assigned as well planning and work over programming engineer, designing and implementing well completions typical for different reservoirs.

FORMAL SCHOOLING

Completed in 1988 at National Institute for Hydrocarbons and Chimistry
(Boumerdes,Algiers) and achieved with State Engineer diploma in oil and gas production (equivalent to petroleum engineer degree).

WORK HISTORY AND EXPERIENCE

January 2008 - Present
Work over and completion engineer.
In charge of planning and programming of work over and completion operations relate to different oil and gas wells of Sonatrach in In Amenas region.
Designing the completion and calculate the depth positions of gas lift mandrels in the tubing string as soon as the valves operating pressures.
Prepare procedures for well operations, well logging and production testing.
Prepare well operating instructions for the work over candidate wells.
June - December 2007
Project member with Schlumberger team.
In charge of achieving the Tableau de Bord d¡¦Exploitation software Project initiated by the Exploitation Department (PED, Algiers). My role is to manage the data collection relate to different fields and wells and build data tables which feed the software designers.

March 2003 - January 2007
Head of operations department in a new Sonatrach/Sinopec (Chinese company) joint venture.
* In charge of subsurface and down hole well operations: well head interventions, work over operations including down hole repairing, fishing, squeeze cementing, and completion.
* Designing and implementing the completions of new drilled oil wells.
* Planning and coordinating job procedures with customers and contractors.
* Plan, prepare, and coordinate the coiled tubing and slick line operations.
* Preparing department required reports and rigs operations-reported reports.
* Overseeing 24-hour rig operations and providing proper guidance and direction to rig supervisors on specific tasks.
* Purchase and rent all the necessary material and equipment needed to achieve the department objectives.

From 2001 to 2003
Production engineer
In charge in Engineering & production Division of achieving acidification, stimulation and tubing cleaning programs with Schlumberger team.
Plan, prepare, coordinate and supervise the acidification, stimulation and tubing clean operations performed with coiled tubing unit.
Follow up and manage Amerada gauge setting with ENSP team in oil producing and monitoring wells.

Well testing supervisor
Worked with British Petroleum team to achieve the potential gas wells tests on the Tiguentourine gas field project. Schlumberger provided technical assistance, equipment and crew. The program consists on each well to:
* Control and pressure test the down hole and subsurface well equipment
* Perforate the well in gas zones (the existing wells are not yet perforated)
* Record a PLT log
* Producing the well at different rates during few days till it reached its optimum steady rate. The well parameters were noticed and fluid samples collected for PVT analysis and further studies.

From 1994 to 1998
Fiber Glass project engineer.
Assigned to study the possibility to equip with fiber glass material the water production wells. The produced water is used to waterflood the Zarzaitine oil field.
The objective is to complete the water wells with fiber glass 7¡¨ casing and 2¡¨3/8 tubing to overcome the corrosion problems generated by the salted water. The wells will be then produced through annular space using gas lift mode.
The necessary equipment is supplied by Ameron Company.

From 1989 to 1993
Rig Supervisor.
In charge of executing the work over and completion programs on site with ENTP and ENAFOR rigs and crews. The main objective of the most of oil wells work over programs is to abandon by cement squeezing the perforations invaded by water or gas. The well is then completed with new gas lift equipment in one or (rarely) dual 2¡¨3/8 tubing strings.
The difficulties to remove the well equipment lead to costly fishing operations on which different tools are used: overshots, die collars, hydraulic jars, bumper subs, washover tools, milling tools, etc.

* A good understanding of drilling rig and its components.
* Experience of working within multidiscipline and field activities and multicultural environments.
* Knowledge of computer packages, MS Windows, Word, Excel, Internet and e-mail.

* Ability to use commonsense and work through problems
* Experience in training new staff
