Project Brief: -The project includes CFD analysis of various complicated geometries of driven cavities with the help of CFD Expert software developed by IIT-Mumbai.Comparing the results with various standard results available of 2D cases with the implementation of moving wall boundary condition and suggested results for 2D as well as 3D cases not considered yet. Studied the effect of corner effects and geometry on the fluid flow. Finally CFD simulation of square cavity for natural convection is studied.

B.Tech. Project: Finite Element Analysis Of Rotating Bodies By NISA Software

Project Brief:-The project was a step towards stress analysis of flywheel by NISA Software. The various parameters that affect the design were studied and a mathematical model was then prepared based on the data collected, it is then applied on software to develop 3-D model of a flywheel applying all the physical parameters on each and every node. And all the results were obtained graphically showing the actual stresses developed on flywheel while making rotation. On the basis of obtained stresses, design can be modified or if needed can be optimized.

ADDITIONAL WORK UNDERTAKEN DURING MTECH: -
Along with my Mtech Project I had parallely worked for CFD analysis of Turbomachinary (NASA ROTOR ¡V35,37,67 ) for analyzing overall Performance of highly loaded, high-speed inlet stages for an advanced high ¡Vpressure ratio core compressor with the help of their CFD Expert software to get feel of industrial problem.
