I am at present working as Principal Engineer – Thermal Design (Fired Heaters) with M/s. Foster Wheeler India Pvt Ltd., Chennai a 100 % subsidiary of M/s. Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd., UK. The present job profile involves Process & Thermal design of Fired Heaters like Crude Heaters, Vacuum Heaters, VGO / DHDT/AHT Heaters, Hydrogen Reformers and EDC Crackers, Waste Heat Boilers, Waste Heat Recovery Units, CO Incinerator Boilers.. and supporting the Marketing team to win jobs.

Prior to this company, I was working with M/s. Thermax Limited, Pune a leading Energy and Environment major, as Manager – Proposals Management (Boiler & Heaters). The job profile involved proposal management, which includes Thermal Design / Process Design and inputs to offer and estimation and post order execution / detailed engineering support.

I had been identified by my previous employer (Thermax Ltd. Pune) as a potential leader and was sponsored for the very first batch of Company's Management Development Program in the year 2004. I can claim that I know in & out fired heaters and boilers, literally, as I was in commissioning of the equipment in the same organization, prior to joining the Proposal Management team.

I have good exposure to heater design software Winheat / FRNC5, Heat Exchanger Design software HTRI and Boiler design software KED.

Company Profile: M/s. Foster Wheeler India Pvt. Ltd (FWIPL) is a 100 % subsidiary of M/s. Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd., UK. FWIPL has two Engineering Centres in India. They are called as India Engineering Centers (IEC). There are two IECs. One is in Chennai and the other is in Kolkata.

The Chennai centre has a Fired Heaters Division (FHD) also. FHD carries out full fledged EPC business for Fired Heaters. FHD is complete in all respects. It has complete thermal & process design, engineering, procurement and construction facilities done by qualified and well experienced experts.
