This is a regional discipline engineering role responsible to the regional process engineering discipline chief covering Shell activities in Shell companies in Nigeria (SPDC, SNEPCO, & SNG), Shell Gabon and Pecten Company Cameroon. Provide process engineering support and services to project and asset teams in the Shell West African region.

* Coordinated asset integrity initiatives for the engineering work stream using the Shell asset integrity processes. This is expected to gulp circa 800 million USD in the next few years.
* Led peer review of Pecten Company Cameroon (PCC) flares down initiatives, hence contributed to savings of $15 million.
* Facilitated in-house online/ face-to-face process engineering learning event modules of "The Development and Operation of Production Systems – P180," thereby circa $500,000 was saved per annum.
* Contributed to the review of key projects, thereby leading to substantial cost savings and reduction of hazards to as low as possible.
* Contributed to various proposed facility modifications during technical change control panel reviews.

Head Front-end and Conceptual Engineering 2007 - 2008
The role is responsible to the engineering manager covering surface engineering projects (brown and green field activities) and process plant optimization of the Shell Gabon assets.

* Led a circa USD 20 mln project to address identified facilities integrity issues. The project also deployed the use of a cyclonic separator (Caltec units) to debottleneck a gathering station with potential of unlocking 20 to 30 Mb/d of oil.
* Led process facilities optimization campaign, which resulted in the reduction of flared gas, in compliance with the company flares down initiative.
* Formulated and executed activity implementation strategies for front-end engineering activities at Shell Gabon.
* Facilitated concept identification workshops for various projects.

Senior Process Engineer 2003 - 2007
This role provides process engineering support (feasibility studies, reviews, special studies, and execution stages of projects etc.) to medium and major projects of the Western division of the company. * Carried out surge vessel sizing studies to ensure adequate degassing, standardization, achieve cost savings and allowing interchangeability of equipments.

* Carried out vapour dispersion analysis on storage tank at a pumping station planned for rehabilitation.

* Carried out feasibility study of the Non Associated Gas Gathering for the Southern Swamp asset.

Process Engineer 1999 - 2003
The area of responsibility comprises of three (3) onshore flowstation replacement and one (1) offshore flowstation upgrade of circa 250 Mb/d gross oil. Also AG gathering of circa 100 MMSCFD at a central processing facility with approximately 30 km of gathering lines, 20 km of gas lift lines and circa 88 km of oil flowlines. The position is responsible to the senior process engineer and has significant influence on a CAPEX of over $800 Million integrated oil/ gas project.

* Represented major projects on the company five (5) year planning team that looked at strategic cost optimization, schedule optimization, identification of risks and mitigation measures.
* Provided process engineering inputs to the Forcados Yokri (four flowstations) facilities produce the limit exercise, which identified various opportunities and led to unlocking of circa 5,000 b/d oil.
* Carried out hysys modeling for the project, which was eventually used for the process engineering studies.
* Evaluated the pipeline re-use versus replacement options for the project, which resulted in circa 20% cost savings to the project.
* Participated on HAZOP studies for the Forcados Yokri project. Participated in the evaluation/ selection of EPIC contractors for the project.
