Scope of work: -

Most the work is to extend the existing S/S's throw 3 steps: -
1. Study the existing system and to analyze it.
2. Prepare the technical specification and the bill of quantities for the HV equipments.
3. Prepare the design drawing for execution.

During this period I receive training by EDF "Electrical de' France "for one month to preparing tender documents and the technical specification.

As senior design engineer for High voltage substation.
Scope of the work: -
Mange the engineering of the primary for tenders and running the projects which include: -
1. Prepare the time plane schedule to grantee optimum usage of the available resources in target time.
2. Study and analyze tender documents to give the best offer from the primary point of view.
3. Study and analyze suppliers and sub-contractors offers to select the best offer.
4. Prepare the arrangement of the substation "layout and sections".
5. Prepare calculation notes for: -
5.1. Static and dynamic force for rigid bus bar.
5.2. Static and dynamic force for flexible bus bar.
5.3. Calculation of surface voltage gradients.
5.4. Ampacity calculation for tube and bare conductor and insulated cable.
5.5. Corona check for the system.
5.6. Earthing system design considering step and touch voltage for low and high soil resistivity.
5.7. Lightning protection design.
5.8. AC&DC auxiliary power supply design.
6. Prepare steel structure guide and loads for 66kV, 220kV and coordinate with the steel structure designer for the best-fit and economic design.
7. Prepare civil work guide and loads for outdoor substation and coordinate with the civil designer for the best-fit and economic design.
8. Prepare civil work guide and loads for indoor substation and coordinate with the civil designer for the best-fit and economic design.
9. Prepare the technical file for
9.1. H.V. equipment "Tr., C.B., C.T., P.T., L.A., C.S.E., D.S.E., L.T."
9.2. H.V.connectors.
10. Prepare the technical files and Bill of quantities needed for the installation stage.
11. Power transformer installation and design standard steel structure supports for different type of power transformers.
12. Prepare Cable ladder system for indoor substation.
13. Prepare installation drawing for 220Kv and 66Kv.
14. Provide the support for site team during erection period
15. Developing and optimizing:-
15.1. Optimize design for indoor substation 66 kV that reduce the budget by 3%.
15.2. Optimize design for outdoor substation 66kVand 220kV
15.3. Give the best arrangements for H.V. equipments in very tied area about 60% less than the standard area for 220kV this is done at (Giza project first arrangement in Egypt)

Scope of the work: -

Tasks done till now:

1- Complete package of Base design and Detail design and support the site team during the construction stage for three substations reinforcement in Southern Operating Area.
2- Complete package of Base design and Detail design for AN NIMAS south 132/33KV new substation in Southern Operating Area.
3- Complete package of Base design and Detail design for Miskha substation reinforcement in Central Operating Area.
4- Provide the technical Support the tender team in the biding for 15 substations we got 6 substation in Southern Operating Area.
5- I ended to establish very good system to reduce the time needed to complete the substation design to 25% of considered time before this system also reduce the possibility of human mistakes and also increase the number of design tasks to be done in-house.
