A motivated and experienced OIM/Superintendant/Supervisor, accustomed to tight budgets in an innovative atmosphere. Experienced in organizing, training
National staff to the highest standard of skills, able to communicate in a controlled and flexible manner, either as a team member, or individual basis.
Extensive experience in FPSO operations, conversions, commissioning, safety case, and first oil startups. Currently based and living in Thailand.
Extensive operating experience in Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, and the North
Sea.

EXPERIENCE RECORD
2004-2009 - MODEC-Thailand
Currently OIM on the Jasmine Venture MV 7, operated by Pearl Energy, initially a short field life was anticipated but the field has grown to 5 platforms and a production rate of 25,000 bbls/d and expected field life completion in 2017. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and responsible for all HSE, Production and Maintenance operations, with responsibility for off take operations that currently are completed once weekly or less, Helicopter operations and in field boat transfers are also under the control of the OIM. Ongoing training of the Thai nationals to Modec FMS standards.

2003-2004 - MODEC-Vietnam
Requested by Modec to move to the MV9 in the South China Sea in the Su Tu Den field operated by Conoco /Phillips, Facility Production Supervisor, responsible for all process related equipment onboard the MV9, training of the Vietnamese nations to take over the process systems controlled by a Siemens DCS PC operating system. Commissioning of the process systems in the yard in Korea, sail out, hook up, commissioning, and first oil. Responsible for the commissioning of the water injection and gas lift systems during the first year of production, the production rate of 80,000 bbls/d at the time of leaving.
Promoted to the post of OIM by Modec management request on the FPSO Jasmine Venture MV7, (Ex Buffalo Venture), at the end of 2004.

2000- 2003- MODEC Australia
Contracted as a third OIM offshore on the Modec Venture 1 in the Timor Sea for operators Conoco/ on the Elang field, this as an extension of my original short contract as Production Superintendent in Jakarta Indonesia. The team consisted of Indonesians, Malaysians, and Australian nations. Also responsible for engineering improvements on the production and related systems and liaising with the Modec head office in Japan.

1999-2000-PERMIER OIL Jakarta
Production Advisor with Premier Oil in Jakarta Indonesia, office based to advise and to coordinate a field s/d to North Sea standards and report to the Operations manager on the operating standards applied in the Premier operated Anoa field, and advise of changes and procedures required to raise the standards required to operate the AGX Anoa gas field for the exporting of gas by pipeline to the Singapore terminal in 2001, the production team consisted of Indonesian nationals with training to North Sea standards.

1998-1999- SBM TII Singapore/Vietnam
Production Superintendent with SBM in Singapore in the Hitachi/Zozen shipyard for the safety case study, refit, commissioning, procedure manual introduction, and sail out of the Rang Dong 1 FPSO to the Rang Dong field operated by JVPC in Vietnam for first oil start up.
Also responsible for the hook up and first oil, liaising with the Rang Dong wellhead platform remotely controlled by the Warner Wright DCS system, crude oil exported to off take crude oil tankers
Liaising directly with the SBM office in Vietnam and the JVPC rep onboard, production team consisted on Pilipino and Vietnamese nationals with ongoing training.

1997-1998-ATLANTIC FLOATING PRODUCTION Ltd
Contracted to Conoco North Sea, on the refitted Semi Submersible Aker A3 floating production facility in the North Sea the Northern Producer, Production Superintendant for the float out and first oil and gas for export to the Tartan platform. Responsible for all production related matters and reporting directly to the OIM and the Aberdeen head office

1993-1997-ATLANTIC POWER AND GAS Ltd Vietnam
Contracted to BHP Petroleum Australia.
Six months in Singapore FELS shipyard and Ho Chi Minh City BHP office to write procedures for the Facility Management System manuals and safety case review.
Production Supervisor on the Dai Hung Field Vietnam on an Aker A3 semi-submersible floating production facility, on location on the Dai Hung field Vietnam supervisor for all process operations, flow lines and pigging operations and wire line operations, reporting directly to the OIM. Supervised the training of Vietnam nations to North Sea standards

I984-1993-ODJFELL DRILLING AND CONSULTING Co UK Ltd Aberdeen Scotland
Contracted to Hamilton Oil Company Ltd, as production supervisor on the Deep Sea Pioneer and located in the Argyll field offshore UK. Supervised hookup and commissioning of first oil, reporting to the OIM of Hamilton Bros, responsible for all subsea completions and wellhead operations and liaising with a permanent onboard diving team, and diving vessel permanently in the field.

1979-1984-OCEAN INCHCAPE Ltd Aberdeen Scotland
On contract to Hamilton Bros Oil and Gas production supervisor on the Transworld 58 Floating Production Facility, responsible for all production related systems, and management of subsea systems, oil exported to a SMB facility and off take tanker, promotion to the position of Production Supervisor in 1981.

1976-1979- EXPRO (NORTH SEA) Aberdeen Scotland
Started my Oil & Gas career as Production Operator on the process systems on the TW 58, and as holiday relief operator on the Montrose, and Thistle North Sea oil platforms.
