Process Engineer /Project Manager/Process Lead ShanXi Chemical Fiber Plant 50000 Ton/Year Hexanolactam Project (1995-1997) Shanxi, China The project included: hydrogen generation, air separation to produce oxygen and nitrogen, cooling water circulating system, and overall water supply system. As the project manager I successfully completed the feasibility study, FEED and detailed engineering design. Main tasks included: -Coordinated design activities among all disciplines. -Developed activity procedures and design criteria. -Supervision of junior process engineers. Process Engineer YuanPing Fertilizer Plant 100000 Ton/Year Methanol Project (1995-1997) Shanxi, China Main responsibilities included: -Responsible for process design of coal slurry preparation and black water treatment plant. -Developed PFDs & P&IDs, process equipment datasheets and process specifications. -Estimated the plants capital, energy and operation cost. Process Engineer/Process Lead JiNan Fertilizer Plant 20000 Ton/Year MDI Project (Apr. – Dec. 1996) Shandong, China Successfully completed FEED and detailed engineering design, Developed a novel process technology to produce large-scale syngas with high concentration of carbon monoxide (1000 Nm3 CO /hr). The capacity was scaled up to ten times of original process. At the same time, the process was modified during the scaling up. Main responsibilities included: -Independently generated PFDs & P&IDs, process equipment datasheets, process instrumentation datasheets, process specifications, and equipment & piping layout drawings. -Developed operating manual for the test run. -Provided technical support and trouble-shooting during test run in the field.
