Provide technical guidance & support to the unit; chair TQM, ISO, PSM meetings.
Prepare new standard operating procedures (SOP's) & participate in HAZOP study & design reviews.
Commissioning and Execution
Ensuring execution of pre-com and commissioning activities on time and as per predefined parameters, timely and safely.
Co-ordinate all project activities from engineering stage till completion work keeping track with time.
Manage the hand over & upkeep all technical documentation & verify the 'as built' status from Contractors upon completion of the construction projects & ongoing modification works.
Provide assistance/expert advice to Construction and Commissioning teams to guarantee a timely and safely start-up of the facilities.
Safely manage the introduction of hydrocarbons with view of safety and risk identification.
Ensuring quality in all kinds of works like - leak tests, pressure test, hydraulic checks, vessel inspection and no load trials and loop checking etc.
Overseeing daily activities in daily meetings and tool meetings and plan next activities as per systems and sub-systems given to group of commissioning team members.
Implement measures to maintain required local & international quality standards & specifications.

Check hook up & pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, Liase with other Company staff at site & offices for coordination of interface design and other project activities.

April 07 till Oct 08: LINDE-KCA, Germany
I Worked as Senior Commissioning Engineer, SHARQ PE Project having 800Kta capacity in Saudi Arabia. Here I was accountable for the effective application of technology on customer project, like safety systems, control systems, detailed design documentation, implementing SABIC Standards etc. Ensure that satisfactory factory acceptance tests are performed and deficiencies are addressed. View operating procedures for commissioning & smooth start up, getting folders of interlocks and logics cleared as soon system is re-instated after flushing, blowing and leak test. Keep track of project in real time and provide support to Project management and technical team. I was looking after downstream section of polyethylene which comes after reactor and conveyed using both lean & dense phase system using Zeppelin system.

In Qatar gas as seconded Lead Commissioning engineer for projects under PMT team & worked for their onshore facilities and modifications as well as expansions & addition of facilities which were running. Study engineering service requests, minor modification reports and facility modification proposals. Lead project issues and needs relating to the development, develop good vendor relationships, manage internal/external project teams, factory inspection and test, chair progress /technical meetings, and liaise with design teams. As Sr. commissioning engineer for POLAND- PKN ORLENE project. Use to perform & estimate man-hours & thus provide required inputs for bid preparation. On award of project main function was to develop Data sheets, PFD's, P&ID's, basic procedures for commissioning activities & calculations for startups. I was responsible for providing engineering support to project management team, worked under close liaison with concerned Manager, gave inputs for the development of the Planning Package and project progress reports and kept track of project progress. Monitor man-hours to ensure that job is finished within budgeted man-hours. Also worked on BAROUGE Abu Dhabi PE Project, as well as Schwechat AUSTRIA PP Project from office, went to POLAND site for Petrochemical project in PLOCK by PP Bassell Spherical & PE Bassell Hostalen Tech. while in office use to review enquiry documentation from client together with Scope of Work and thus raise queries where there is lack of clarity, interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.

Have worked in Fluidized Reactor & Compressor for conveying using Zeppelin system, Recovery units, Dryers for N2, Dryers of Propane, Ethane & Sulphur removers, Their Regeneration cycle & loops. Conveying systems for pellets of both lean and dense phase using ARZEN compressors.
