GIS tendering Engineer

Responsibilities:
* Analyse and review tenders/ RFQ documents from Customer and participate in bid/site Survey.
* Facilitate the Go/no-Go decision process and formulate bid strategies with management and the sales/marketing team.
* Request Customer to clarify the areas with partial/no information
* Coordinate within the various departments (e.g. Engineering, Execution, Sourcing, Finance, Tax, Legal etc) to ensure compliance to bidding requirement.
* Develop the activity schedule, initial budget/target estimate followed by detail pricing & risk analysis in line with the company objectives & guidelines.
* Customize the proposal to ensure compliance with requirements and responsiveness to customer needs and clearly identify the areas of techno-commercial non-compliance to be taken up with Customer.
* Prepare responses to post-bid clarification from Customer and rewrite/edit responses as & when necessary in line with re-validation from Management.
* Participate in customer meetings/presentations as required to win the order.
* To create and update tender data base and to use return of experiences, to improve delivery time and quality of the tenders
* Prepare a lost tender analysis if competitors win the order.
