This involved marsh excavators, rollers, floats, and pulling units along with working with the metric systems of measurements.

June 2000 - July 2001. Point of contact engineer for the replacement of 12,000 feet of 36 X. 375 inch w.t. line pipe at 12 locations across the peat bogs in northern Minnesota during winter construction seasons. Coordinated the detail design of drawings, procurement of the replacement pipe, provided Owner Company with the r-o-w needs, provided for a new detail design of the set-on-weights, and obtained a water source for the hydro test. Coordinated the engineering and the construction firms to replace 2 dual existing 24 inch pipelines across the Straits of Mackinac, Michigan, with 2 new dual 36 inch pipelines. the projected cost for the labor, machinery and pipe was approximately $ 42 million.

Used Excel estimating work sheets and Microsoft Project to prepare the detailed cost estimates for the shallow water pipe installations of up to 150 feet of water in the Gulf of Mexico to include the mobilization, fuel, pipe and personnel deliveries, lay barge, ROV and diver costs.

Developed the scope of work including the new specifications and mark-up of the existing alignment drawings, defined the locations of the concrete coated pipe, composed the layout of the new pipe storage yards, and assisted in the procurement of the pipe, valves and fittings.

Assignment for 154 mile of 24 X. 257 inch w.t. pipe, 80 foot nominal lengths, from Buffalo to Syracuse, New York Provided for all documentation for owner bid proposal, aided R-O-W agents in restriction lists, defined the locations of the concrete coated pipe, located and laid out by drawing the pipe storage yards and developed the work scope.

March 1985 - April 1987. Prepared the contractor bid estimate for congested city work for a 24 inch natural gas pipeline. Prepared the labor and machinery bid sheets, solicited the subcontractor vendor pricing from pipe haul to road repair, and coordinated the engineering efforts.

April 1980 - February 1984. Prepared the contractor bid estimates for the large pipe diameter pipelines across the various waterways and rivers in south Louisiana. The route was reviewed, followed by a detailed plan and schedule of how to install the concrete coated pipe as to the manner of the placement and preparation of the pulling and pushing stations, details for delivery of the personnel and pipe to water location work sites, means to perform all civil work, and obtaining and disposal of the hydro test water. Once all costs were known, the owner bid forms were used to distribute the contractor costs plus profit.
