QUALIFICATION HILIGHTS

Working knowledge with sections of the following codes, ISO, API, ASME ASTM, AWS, DS-1, NACE, NS-1/Shell SQAIR, NORSOK, and OSHA 29. CFR-1910.
Basics and fundamentals of SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SAW welding processes, Heat control and Metallurgy, Distortion, and the Requirements for Qualification of Welding procedures specifications, Welders and Welding operators

Experience performing NDT inspection on Onshore/Offshore drilling/handling tools, and pipe work. Ultrasonic thickness measurement Survey on Marine Vessels (Drilling rigs, Ships, Service Boats, etc) Hull structures for Annual/Intermediate class survey, C.A.P survey, and Owner's condition survey to ensure compliance to appropriate standards and specifications as regards wastage allowance per the requirements of these recognized classification societies, including ABS, DNV, LRS, BV, GL and NKK

Quality Technician – Inspector
Review purchased critical material and services documentation for inspection, Material certifications, Functional/NDE tests etc from suppliers to ensure compliance to established standards and purchase order requirements, Sample and test purchased parts, Create Nonconformance (RONS) tied to incomplete material test reports (MTR's), discrepant condition found to exist in parts inspected, and submit to procurement specialist (missing MTR's) and Sustaining Engineer respectively.
Interface with Engineering and manufacturing on work order routers and witness inspections, Interface with outside Inspectors (Customer and Third Party) in Setting up witness inspections, Coordinating review of Quality Data Books, and obtaining release notices. Data derived from the use of UT Thickness Gauging is then recorded and analyzed with a spreadsheet, from which wall diminution may be tracked over subsequent inspections for Preventive Maintenance/Reliability Management purpose
