DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1- Review and approve the welding procedure specification (WPS) and procedure qualification report (PQR) and qualify the welders.

2- Adhere to project drawings, specifications and construction supervision instructions for all mechanical works.

3- Check and sign material issue vouchers for piping and equipment materials.

4- Monitor the mark-up for construction drawings required for developing the as-built drawings.

5- Monitor and ensure the application of the approved WPS.

6- Ensure reports related to the correct interpretations and welding NDT.

7- Witness post weld heat treatment and hydro testing pipe work, pipelines, tanks, etc., and ensure documentation is correct.

Installation and Erection of equipment such as:

Pressure vessels. Air coolers. Flares. Slug catcher.

Storage Tanks (spherical and cylindrical, fixed or floating roof,)

On Site Erection and Fabrication such as:

„XFabrication of steel structure according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

„XFabrication and erection of piping, under ground piping, and under ground pipe lines according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

„XCheck, inspect and signed the NDT. Reports for any weld have been done on the site or related fabrication workshop.

„XAdhere and applied the applicable codes, standards, and specifications for all previous activities such as: ASME B31.3, ASME IIX, ASME IX, ASME V, API 650, API 1104, AWS D1.1, AND project specifications.
