Senior Process engineer responsible for Refinery (Topping unit, Naphtha stablizer, Sour water system and LPG dryer), Oil Movement handling the following activities:
* Supervise, review and approve all process engineering works within the Engineering Section.
* Responsible for all process engineering activities relating to the assigned area.
* Follow up day to day the performance of the plant.
* Making recommendation and studies for improvement of plant efficiency carrying out design projects, debottlenecking studies in his area.
* Liaises with other departments and disciplines to resolve problems in his area.
* Liaises with process engineering team to improve the standard of process engineering activities.
* Attends inter division meeting and meeting with outside authorities, contractors and vendors to discuss technical matters relating to his area.

Senior Process engineer responsible for Refinery (Topping unit, Naphtha stablizer, Sour water system and LPG dryer), Oil Movement, Loading facilities and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) handling the following activities:
* Follows day to day operation of the assigned units.
* Revising existing plant simulation systems using Hysys software to study and optimize plant operations.
* Recommending and approving of plant modifications to improve reliability, efficiency and operation.
* Follow-up and optimizing chemical consumption and investigating the viability of proposed treatment programs.
* Prepare process data sheet and basic process design for newly proposed process equipment and/or system.
* Assessment of plant operation problems and bottlenecks by advising the operations on proper solutions according to common trouble-shooting approach.
* Acting as a reference source to other departments. Including liaising with engineering, production and HSE Divisions, assisting in developing, provide technical information and suggest improvements in new major modifications / projects.
* Attending meeting for inter-division and with outside authorities including contractors, vendors and suppliers to discuss technical aspects.
* Performing technical evaluation of material/equipment bids including technical clarification to bidders through procurement department.

* Recommending improvement of plant efficiency preparation of minor design projects and debottlenecking studies.
* Familiarizing with all aspects of the complex by working over a period of time in different areas.
* Familiarizing with all computer software programs in the division and their use for plant operation improvements and other technical aspects.
* Attends daily meeting with other department and inter division meeting to discuss technical matters.
* Participating in Turnaround activities.

July 1997 – 1999: Ras lanuf oil and gas processing co.
Jounier Process engineer in the Refinery (Topping unit, Naphtha stablizer, Sour water system and LPG dryer), Oil Movement and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP):
* Follow-up of daily operation.
* Technically responsible for all actions and recommendations relating to process engineeing activities.
* Monitoring of Refinery product specifications with Laboratory.

1995, Joining refinery operation department as outside senior operator
* Check the plant efficiency during the shift and give the operator instructions including responsibilities for operators.
* Check lab analysis result to optimize the operation and chemicals.

* Monitoring of rotating equipment specifically pumps and checking the maintenance activities for unit.
* Check all unit parameters and monitor all the works in unit including the suspension of repairs in the event of anticipated accidents.
* Carrying out normal and emergency start-up and shutdown.
* To ensure safety precautions to operators and stopping unsafe work.
* Ensuring cost saving operation by instructing operators with appropriate operating procedure.
