15 years of Autocad, beginning with Release 12 thru Release 2007. For the last 3+ years employed as a Group Lead Senior Designer with an off-shore platform engineering company. Drafted in every element of platform construction, supervised and checked work from other designers in structural dept. Directly consulted with structural engineers for the development of complete drawing packages. 6 years experience in sheet metal fabrication, detailing and designing a variety of units for use in the oil and gas industry as well as water treatment plants. 3 years background in plumbing and HVAC. Experience in surveying and land development. 2 years experience in mechanical drafting of rotary wood grinding machines, hydraulics and conveyors. SENIOR DESIGNER, GROUP LEAD - Utilizing Autocad 2007 in paper space/model space, designed all components related to off-shore platforms, including but not limited to, main and sub deck frames, heliport framing and marking plans, boat landings, well access decks, ladders, stairs, caissons and conductors, risers, pile and caisson make-ups, jackets, mud-mats, support clamps, assemblies, MMS drawings, barges, load-outs, and installation sequences for 3-pile, 4-pile, 8-pile, free standing and lean-to well protectors. Prepared material take-offs for ordering. Rendered drawings in 2D and 3D. As a group lead, oversaw, directed and checked other designers within structural department.
C&C METALS – HOUSTON, TX.
SENIOR DESIGNER - Utilizing Autocad 2004 with a dual monitor system; rendered walkways, stairs, ladders and handrailing for water treatment plants. Interpreted civil drawing packages for design of the pre-described components. Also, designed skids and steel roof structures for utility enclosures.
ACS INDUSTRIES, INC. - HOUSTON, TX.
DETAILER/DESIGNER - Utilizing Autocad 2002 with a dual monitor system; rendered piece parts detail drawings for an oil and gas separations company. Designs and piece parts included sieve, valve and bubble cap trays, vane mesh housings and mist eliminators to be installed in tower separation vessels. Also, compiled a comprehensive, 200 page "Standards" book describing exact welds, bolting, valve clearances, tower supports, sizing charts and precise assembly standards of all internal trays. This book was distributed throughout the company and adopted as the central guide for design, drafting and manufacturing. Also, designed and rendered a "see-through" oil and water separator (coalescer) used as a demo unit in national trade shows.

SENIOR DESIGNER - Utilizing Autocad 2000 with a dual monitor system, generated assembly, design and detail fabrication drawings for a varied assortment of steel based equipment, including but not limited to, tube washer and strip washer systems for carbon steel tubing, blowdown silencers for turbine exhaust systems, duct work, weigh feeders, discharge adapters, inline guard filter systems, pellet storage bins and cooler housings. All products were made of carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum. Helped set drawing standards for design department. Helped oversee project development and assembly in welding and fabrication shop. Utilized Microsoft, Excel, and Word for bill of materials and engineering schedules.

SENIOR DESIGNER/DRAFTER - Utilized Autocad 2000 and Release 14, designed and rendered drawings for gas turbine enclosures, air filter houses, blowdown silencers, inlet and exhaust silencers and ducts, and plenum housings for a steel fabrication plant. In charge of setting up drawing standards and organizing control procedures. Also, provided drawing checks and mark-ups for projects in production and upon completion. Utilized engraving system for nameplates.

JUNIOR DESIGNER/DRAFTER - Utilizing Autocad Release 12, 13, 14LT, & 14; rendered a variety of drawings including: Plumbing (waste & vent, water & gas) HVAC, Electrical, & Site Utility plans for commercial and institutional facilities.
