SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

My main Duties as Workover / Completion Engineer:

* Responsible for workover rigs activity.
* To coordinate and order all required equipment and services to carry out Workover/Completion operations as per Cairo requests.
* Solve down hole pumping problems.
* RIH with completion, different pumps & starting up (ESP, PCP, Sucker Rod Pump) to put the well on production.
* Performing and / or witnessing perforation (TCP, Through Tubing Perforation), acid stimulation & water shut off, PLT, Temperature Survey, Y-Tool, sand bailer, RCT jobs …etc.
* Production Optimization
* Select and change type of artificial lift depend on the well conditions.
* Preparation the well for steam cycle and put the well again on cold production after steam cycle.
* Memory Gauges Reading and Evaluation.
* Zonal Isolation & Cement Squeeze.
* Select the suitable type of packers (open or cased hole) depend on well conditions and type of job.
* To ensure that preventative maintenance is being performed on all Completion/Workover related equipment to minimize downtime and lost production incurred from equipment break downs.
* To ensure that all contractors and employees are adhering to all Scimitar and IADC safety rules and regulations.
* To complete, distribute and file daily reports summarizing all operations on all wells performed on a daily basis
* To communicate with all other departments including Production, Maintenance, Electrical, and Safety pertaining to up coming Completion/Workover operations to ensure all parties are well prepared.
* To over see that the inventory of Completion/Workover equipment in the warehouse is being kept up adequately including rods, tubing, wellhead parts, pumps, pump out plugs, etc.
* To review all field tickets prior to approving them.
* To report all accidents, injuries and any unsafe behavior to HSSE immediately upon occurrence.

Jan 2006 to present: Employed by Scimitar Production Egypt Company as Workover / Completion Engineer in Issran Oil Field that has the following properties:
* Heavy Oil (9 to 14 API).
* Carbonate Reservoir.
* Open & Cased hole Completion.
* our Field (Avg 20000 ppm)

Aug 2004 to Jan 2006: Employed by Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO). GUPCO is a joint operating company with BP and EGPC. I worked as an operation engineer in District Engineering Division in the North area (October field). Before working in the District Engineering Division, I rotated for three months, as a trainee, in Drilling, Production, Wireline, Waterflood, and process Divisions.
