Soda Ash plant consist of Brine solution preparation & purification, Absorption, Carbonating Tower, Kiln for(source of Co2 gas),Screw type & double acting reciprocating compressor, Filtration, Plate & Frame Heat Exchanger, Bubble Cap Steam Distillation for (Ammonia recovery), Calcinations & Soft water plant etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all aspects of chemical and process design and project implementation for various processes, including:
* Developing project scopes and project costs estimates.
* Computer simulation and hand calculation of heat and material balances, distillation and absorbing, carbonating tower, Esterification, Polymerization and flash calculations.
* Performing supporting process calculations and preparing specifications for all required process equipment items, including vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, instrument control valves and relief valve etc.
* Preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs).
* Developing procedures and design standards as required to reflect changes in design policy experience with previous designs, regulatory changes, customer design standards and the requirements of specific projects.
* Leading a team of designers and other engineers in process design efforts.
* Dealing with personnel regarding their training, job assignments, relief etc.
* Controlling and adjustment of process related parameters for best production.
* Handling of quality problems related with marketing point of view.
* Raised plant concerned modifications monitor and inspect all the modifications.
* Regenerate daily plant activities, production and quality reports.
* Participate in daily coordination meetings and discuss process, production and quality related problems.
* Issue the cold and hot work permits according to the job nature.
* Planning of shutdown & Startup Jobs of whole plant.
* Selection of the raw material to get best quality & high yield.
