Scope of Duties:
* Direct and supervises subordinates of Instrument Technicians and Carrying out instrumentation maintenance in Power Plant and Desalination Plants. This includes the installation, service, calibration, repair and testing of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation ensures that such work is performed in accordance with the company's standards, codes and practices
* Ensures the Provision of material and equipment required to undertake maintenance work. Liaises with the central workshop for assistance and prepares work shop orders.
* Direct and participate in the implementation of plant instrument modification work in accordance with established procedures.
* Liaises with relevant personnel in the operation and safety dept. to obtain permits to work and with other section regarding the availability of mobile plant and labor.
* Prepare various reports on normal, break down and critical maintenance work. Carries out other related duties, such as compiling time sheets, store stock requisitions, accident reports, monitor disciplinary action and special technical reports.
* Supervises the safe and efficient maintenance of plant equipment, and personnel in accordance with the agreed and safe procedure.
* Provide daily contacts mainly at supervisor and engineer level with personal of other disciplines with maintenance operations Center workshop and safety dept. for general co-ordination purposes.
* Carries out fault finding maintenance and modification on Bristol Babcock System3000 DCS, PLC's and Boiler logics.
* Carried out maintenance and calibration analyzers like O2, Co2, Alkalinity, Conductivity, and PH
