* Developed close working relationship with major rotating equipment vendor such as GE, Dresser Rand, Siemens, Elliott, Mitsubishi, Man Turbo and Rolls Royce
* Witness key hold points during procurement and construction on an as-required basis
* Strong written and oral communication skills in English

* Review and approve contractual engineering design documents submitted by EPC contractors, Third Party Consultants and Vendors to ensure compliance to Client Specifications and International standards for optimum flawless start-up and safe operation of all rotating equipment. These deliverables include dynamic simulation of the antisurge protection systems, as-built mechanical data sheets, Process Flow Diagrams, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, Utility Flow Diagrams, General arrangement drawings, Test Procedures, HAZOP reports, Process and Equipment Control Philosophy reports and commissioning and start-up procedures and guidelines.
* Monitor the Installation, Commissioning and Start-up of all rotating equipment
* Work closely with the EPC Contractors, Client's Maintenance, Operation and HSE departments to review all new rotating equipment for grassroot Plants and as well as debottlenecking existing rotating equipment to allow for expansion.
* Review Contractors' and Vendors' concession requests in job scope during the detailed engineering phase, estimate magnitude of changes, and advise project management team and client accordingly.
* Coordinate the activities of respective Engineering disciplines to provide Technical Expertise on all rotating equipment
* Participates in project quality assurance reviews and assists in corrective action requirements to ensure rotating equipment consistently meet the contract requirements.
* Liaise with international manufacturing facilities to ensure smooth transition from order to project execution.
* Travel to witness Factory Acceptance Test for major rotating equipment at vendors' works, and follow up installation and commissioning and start-up work at construction sites.
* Review and approve all as-built documentation such as Manufacturer Record Books of all rotating equipment
