My exposure with varied professional groups and many disciplines in this industry has given me the opportunity to learn a variety of field level and lead department roles and responsibilities. I have had the opportunity to share knowledge and learn from CP industry leaders, and facilitate that information where it is best required. It is with drive and vigor that I continue to learn and utilize my existing skills.

My past experience and knowledge of pipelines in Western Canada makes me aware that there are cathodic protection challenges associated with the older infrastructures and the new facility and piping developments to meet the increased demand for product.

My existing CP and Pipeline inspection and future developing Internal and In-Line Inspection skills would be a benefit not only to maintain your existing integrity program, but to also to explore areas of improvement with technical advancements, new superior product quality, new governmental and industry regulations and above all the necessary safety requirements. These need not be considered challenges but rather opportunities to become more efficient and aware of how integral cathodic protection affects so many facets in our industry. It is with this that I too want to utilize, learn and develop skills to meet these opportunities pro-actively as apposed to re-actively. 2009 – Present

Corrosion Control Specialist that manages and performs the survey, maintenance, monitoring, evaluation, design/installation, and safety associated with cathodic protection and systems of natural gas distribution pipelines in townships throughout Alberta.

- Directly supervise Cathodic Protection (CP) consultants, service companies and contractors.
- Initiate CP communication with management, land, pipeline design engineers, regional managers and district supervisors with supporting personnel for improved standards and safety requirements.
- Initiate and manage the development of a remedial priority identification program of all CP deficiencies, and CP Hazard Awareness Safety program via a comprehensive rectifier audit.
- Initiate and improve the quality, comprehension, format and scope of work of the annual CP surveys.

- Directly supervised and selected leading Cathodic Protection (CP) industry senior consultants, service companies and contractors, while integrating with Interpipeline Fund field offices electricians and operators for CP related requirements and repairs.
- Developed strong communication daily with management, land operations, pipeline design engineers, regional team leaders with supporting personnel, leading industry consultants and regulators, and service contractors to include construction, electrical and material suppliers.
- Initiated and managed the development of a remedial priority identification program of all CP deficiencies, electronic quality control monitoring system and a successfully accepted and implemented company wide CP Hazard Awareness Safety program.
