(b) Once Thru Hydro-Cracker Unit: Implementation of Multivariable Predictive controller in Fractionator and Light Ends Recovery System. Inferential for prediction of
Fractionator Diesel cut Recovery @ 350, Recovery @ 360& Recovery @ 370,
Fractionator Kerosene/ATF cut Flash Point.

(c) Catalytic reforming Unit: Implementation of Multivariable Predictive controller in
Stabiliser and de-ethaniser sections of CRU to improve the RVP of Reformate and to curtail the slippage of C5+ in LPG. Inferential prediction models have been deployed to predict the Reformate RON (based on Feed PONA, WAIT & Rx dT), RVP and LPG
Weathering, C5+.

(d) Hydrogen Generation Unit: DCS level advanced control for Reformer capacity control combining the Reformer Steam to Feed ratio control, reformer firing control, FDSFront End Pressure control & Hydrogen header pressure down stream of PSA unit. The objective of this control is to minimise the H2 header pressure fluctuations and move the reformer capacity to meet the hydrogen demand and surplus.

2. Property Prediction using Inferential: Identification of Streams and the properties to be inferred(part of Multivariable controller implementation), Process and lab results data collection, Modeling of lab data against the process parameters using
PLS method. Development of Inferential models, Comparing Inferred values against lab results. Bias changes for deviation between Inferred value and lab result.

3. RealTime Process Information: Vast working experience with DCS interfacing to realtime database, database configuration, generating realtime reports, MIS reports,
Daily Material Balance reports, Plant status reports, Unit Performance Reports and User
Customizable reports in asp environment. Self developed Lab Information and management system on Oracle database with customized reports in Excel and user queried reports through IIS and asp. Administration of Realtime and LIMS database.
Experience in AspenTech Infoplus.21 database & web21 applications. Oracle database administrator for 10g (Release 2)database and 10g application server.

(a) Real Time Process Information Network: Process Information network at CPCL
involves complex integrity of various DCS (Distributed Control Systems) to the target database thru respective proprietary interfaces. The database is deployed on
AspenTech's Infoplus.21 (AspenOne version 2006) and continuously populates all the process data from the various DCS sources. Applications have been developed to provide essential data in an user friendly environment. Reports like realtime snapshots, daily material balance, MIS etc have been scheduled to provide the much-needed information to the process and planning personnel to take appropriate decisions.
AspenTech's Infoplus21 is a sqlserver platform. Extensive web modules have been developed to cater to the Process Information Network. Automatic alerts like Web Pop-
Ups and E-mail triggered based on Process unit status have been deployed for keeping the entire refinery crew informed about the status of units.

(b) Lab Information System: Laboratory Information system runs on oracle platform. The functionality of the Laboratory information system is to fetch data from user entry thru web based modules. Validate the data and archive them in the oracle database. End users access these reports thru web pages. Lab reports are update once in a shift after the test are performed. The shift based lab reports are sent to the respective Process unit in charge through Email. Excel Macros have been scheduled to accomplish the reports on continuous basis.

c) Data Mobilisation through SMS gateway. Architect and implementer of Real time Process Information to target recipient's Mobile SMS using custom developed architecture. Two way data communication enabled system wherein information from the production server can be obtained on demand 24 x 7 through secured sms communication requests.
