Professional Responsibilities:
¡´ (Rowan Drilling RSTC).
- Assist in the continued development of the HSE culture while actively supporting the safety vision of an incident free workplace, all the time, everywhere.
- This shall incorporate mentoring, training and monitoring the development of personnel through the administration and co-ordination of Rig based training.
- Conduct periodic self assessment audits and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Use the system available to book and administer on and offshore training for rig based personnel.
- Maintains and updates rig personnel's training records.
- Maintains and updates the installation specific training matrix and monitors for compliance.
- Monitors compliance of HSE orientation and induction for all personnel.
- Conduct rig-based HSE training courses as per training matrix.
- Conduct training on the HSE Management System structure and requirements.
- Assist and OIM in the investigation of Environmental Incidents.
- Assist the OIM in the planning and preparation of safety meetings.
- Participate in internal audits on the installation to ensure compliance with its Specific Clients.
- Assist and coach rig based personnel in the implementation and understanding of the Company Management System.
- Provides a communication link between QHSE and Training organization and the offshore workforce.
- Assist in the implementation of the company goals and objectives through liaison with QHSE Management.
- Advise and actively assist personnel in the application of company safe working practices.
- Promotes, participates and coaches personnel in STOP observations, STOP monitoring and STOP tours through daily monitoring of operations.
- Monitors, coaches and advises on the Permit to Work system.
- Monitors, coaches and advises on the Management of Change process.
- Assists supervisors with the planning and development of HSE Meetings.
- Participates in daily meetings with the OIM, Department Heads and Client Representative as required.
- Assist the OIM in incident investigations.
- Continually review the Company Management System to identify opportunities for improvement
- Promote and maintain an effective working relationship and communication with other departments
¡´ (Fire Technician). Responsible for Rig up, Inspection and Maintenance for Fire Systems such as Extinguishers and Fixed Systems.
¡´ Install Fire Detection System in Offshore Rigs and building premises as per required for Health & Safety.
¡´ (H2S Technician) Rig up Cascade Breathing Air System, Gas Detection System for both toxic and combustible gases
¡´ Offshore or On Shore Rigs; equipments are maintained to its Highest possible Standards to meet the requirements of OSHA, Manufacturer's Specification and Operator's Safety Standards.
¡´ Regular thorough Inspection and test such as Function Test of Breathing Air Equipments, Air Quality Testing for Air Compressors as well as air line system. Regular Calibration for Gas and Fire System.
¡´ Conduct Trainings and pre tour safety meetings for Rig Crew / Service Personnel regarding the Hazard of the operation, which highlights specifically on Controls, Counter Measures, Awareness, Emergency Response, Individual Responsibility, Muster Point, Contingency plans in case of Gas release or in an event of Fire.
