PROCESS HANDLED:
I am Working in VGO /Diesel/Kerosene Hydortreating Unit having a capacity of 200 KBPSD of DIESEL of two identical train to achieve 98% Desulfurisation and 70% Denitrification and for VGO having a capacity of 204 KBPSD of two trains to achieve 94%Desufurisation and 54% Denitrification. Inprocessing objective to reduce the Sulfur level to 0.2% at the F.C.C. feed to meet Sox emission to 300ppm in flue gas. Technology supplied by M/s U.O.P and detailed engineering done by BECHTEL
Distributed Control System for Refinery Complex is of Foxboro I/A series 50 and is capable of plant wide automation.

Capacity: 730 m3/hr
Head: 1214 m
Disc. Press: 100 kg/cm2

(3) Diesel Furnace: Plant has been equipped with the combined feed heater. Which is vertical box up draft type design for total heat release of 25.79 MMKCal/hr with guaranteed 93.2% fuel efficiency. It is provided with 8 no of JOHN ZINK gas burners basic engineering for the heater is done by UOP and design by HEURTY PETROCHEM, as per the API 560

(4) VGO Furnace: Plant has been equipped with combined feed heater which is a
Box Updraft Type furnace design for total heat release 17.35MMKcal/hr &other is Vertical cylindrical type fractionator feed heater design for total heat release
28.47MMKcal/hr. Basic engg. of heater done by U.O.P. and detail design by
HEURTEY PETROCHEM ENGG. made in France as per API 560.
5) DIESEL REACTOR: Diesel hydrotreator reactor is typically constructed of 1.25 Cr.- 0.5 Mo base metal. Design press. is 51 kg/cm2.and temp is 421 degree c. It consist of two bed catalyst made of oxide of Co -Mo impregnated on Alumina base

(6)VGO Reactor: VGO Hydrotreating reactor is typically constructed by 1.25C0.5Mo Metal base. VGO Hydrotreating catalyst is Ni - Mo impregnated on Alumina base. Diesel Hydrotreating catalyst is Co Mo impregnated on AluminaBase. Design temp & press. is 454 C & 92 kg/cm 2
(7) Power Recovery Turbine (VGO): This turbine is run by High press. Liquid of
70.3kg/cm2 and the Equivalent power generation accounts to560KW.
(8) Recycle Gas Scrubber: It consists of 12 no. of valve trays column dia.3.3m, design press.39kg/cm2. Main function of H2S Removal.
(9) Stripper: It consists of 36 no. of sieve trays. Main function is to remove approx..84wt% of H2S.

Nature of Work:-
-Knowledge of field operation, plant startup and shutdown, Emergency handling. Trouble shooting and shift production optimization.
-Routine checkup for all Equipments and Ensure proper entry & upkeep of the logbooks including proper shift handing over.
-Monitoring the process at ¡* standard operating procedure¡¨.
-Ensuring all standby equipment are always in healthy condition and warm up condition.
-Monitoring of smooth and safe operation of rotating equipment like pumps,
Compressors, fin fan coolers, ID/FD fan of heater etc
Operating knowledge of compressor, Steam Turbine, Power recovery Turbine and all types of pumps
-Startup and shutdown of fired Heaters& Checking of firebox and burner flame pattern, burner change over, and daily soot blowing in heater.
-Recovery of VGO, Naptha, Diesel, Kerosene by continuous Fractionation.
-Maintain the record of the past/future shut down job
-Co-ordinate Activities with maintenance, safety, house keeping and clean-up.
-BSC checklists updating periodically
-Knowledge of work permit system, safe work practices and experience in carrying out jobs in running plant.
-Familiarity with relevant safety measures and fire fighting techniques.
