QUALIFICATIONS
    25 years of Chemical Plant operating experience.
    Honeywell TDC-2000 and TDC-3000 computer operating system; limited Honeywell NT experience.
    Troubleshooting, loop checks, and loop tuning on TDC-3000.
    TDA chemical reactors.
    TDA distillation, including closed loop cooling systems, vacuum system, and principles of operation.
    3-Megawatt Cogeneration unit, utilizing an Allison natural gas fired turbine and 125mpph boiler.
    Boilers and steam letdown system.
    Demineralized water unit.
    Nitric acid unit, including absorption principle and compressor set (Ingersoll/Rand).
    Cooling Towers and water treatment.
    Waste water management system.
    Air compressors and air dryer systems, both fixed and portable.
    I have the ability to troubleshoot all of the above listed systems and equipment.
    I have learned to recognize and correct minor problems, before they become serious problems.
    Confined Space Entry Supervisor trained.
    Adhere to Safety procedures; very safety conscious. Perform housekeeping tasks in order to promote a safe
    working environment.
    Visible Emissions Evaluation Certification, for agency reporting.
    ISO Quality trained, including SQC charting.
    Utilized SCBA and breathing air equipment.
    Can work within the Incident Command System (ICS), during emergencies.

EMPLOYMENT
    1968-1975    United States Air Force: Radio Relay Technician.
            I worked with VHF/UHF radios, Microwave Radio Systems and multiplex equipment, Tropospheric Scatter radio Equipment. Stationed in the Philippines, Viet Nam, and the 4th Mobile Comm Group in Altus, Oklahoma. Honorable Discharge.

    1975-2001    Air Products and Chemicals: Senior Operator/Step-up Supervisor.
            I worked all outside units, including TDA, Nitric Acid, and Utilities Area, including start-up and shutdown of all units. I have loaded molten product into tank trucks and rail cars; unloaded nitric acid from tank trucks.
            I worked the Control Board using Bristol and Rosemont controllers before the upgrade to the Honeywell TDC-2000 and later, the TDC 3000 control systems. I am well versed in troubleshooting on these systems, can restart the system from power outages, restart failed boxes, locate affected operating points on failed boxes, assist in loop checks on system, and perform loop tuning on single points, as well as cascaded points. I have helped eliminate waste, prescribed changes that have resulted in cost savings, and improved operation through innovative thinking. I am the “go to” person for board training due to my communication skills and my ability to get along with everyone. I have taught engineers to use the TDC-3000, for information gathering and process study. I have dealt with a hydrogen fire on a TDA reactor when an agitator seal blew out. My quick reaction and evaluation of the situation resulted in rapid control of the fire and minimum damage to equipment, without injury to any workers. I work well in a Team atmosphere and nurture the team towards achieving goals.
    I have worked a rotating shift schedule for the last 30 years, preferring the 4on/4off 12-hour schedule. I have never refused a call-out and my attendance is excellent.
