PROFILE:

I am a drilling and completions supervisor with over twenty nine years experience (19 years as a Toolpusher) in the oil industry. I have extensive drilling experience with most drilling fluids including oil base, water & polymer base mud systems, foam and air. My experience extends to fully automative rigs, and Varco¡¦s TDS 3, TDS 4, TDS 9 & IDS. I have drilled and completed wells to a depth up to 23,000 ft. in Australia (All areas), Indonesia, China, Iran, Libya, Saudi Arabia and the North Sea, both on land and offshore. I have experience in directional and horizontal drilling using steering tools, MWD and LWD tools, AGN, and rotary steerable tools. I have experience in short and long radius horizontals; ¡§S¡¨ curved wells and extended reach wells (+70deg). I have a wide range of experience in completions on all types of wells ¡Ve.g. bear foot, dual, tandem, gas injection and single completion. Involved in projects and commissioning team in the construction of three drilling rigs, here in Australia (Atwood Oceanics Modular rig # 19, Woodside Petroleum¡¦s Goodwyn ¡A¡¨ modular rig) and Houston TX, (Helmrich & Payne / Atwood Oceanics rig # 200), including the load out of these rigs to their respective locations.
I possess excellent communication skills with all levels of people of different nationalities, computer literate and written skills, safety ¡ execution of procedures- and profit orientated. Self-starter, hard worker and team player.
Duties: -
Provide training and evaluation of employees under my supervision, serve as primary liaison between contractor and operator, and provide supervision of all operations on operators Jack-Up. Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered and co-ordinate timely deliveries of material and equipment to the wellsite as required. Ensure that we, the operator meet all requirements of the contract and verify all operations by way of tour reports & field tickets. Ensure that the rig and equipment (plus third party equipment) are adequately maintained to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime. Ensure all operator & contractor safety rules and regulations are followed as well as modern drilling practices. I possess excellent communication skills with all levels & nationalities, computer literate (excell, word & outlook) and written skills, safety & profit orientated, a self starter, hard worker and team player.
