- Participated in number of annual plant turn around jobs and acting as permit control authority for day to day maintenance/repair works.

- I have experience in pre-commissioning & commissioning of ethane recovery and acid gas recovery plants which is an expansion project of present gas recycling plant.

Work location last 7 years:
- I have 7years experience in Gas recycling plant in Qatar petroleum state of Qatar as Field and Panel Operator. The Gas Recycling facility is an 800 mmscfd gas/condensate separation plant. The gas from the gas wells is isentropically depressurized across the two turbo expanders and the recovered liquid is stripped and stabilized in two coloums. These liquids split in to two streams of 5000 bpd of NGL and 36,000 bpd of condensate.

- The heavy residue gas is sent to Ethane recovery unit which is designed to recover 1500 t/d of ethane. This process mainly consists of 2 De-methanizer coloums, a series of plate &fin type exchangers, compressors to recycle the gas, an expander to cool down and partially condense the De-methanizer over head which is used as refrigerant and column reflux.

Present job:
- I have been working as a panel operator since 15.10.2002 and a field operator since 8.12.1998 in Qatar petroleum, dukhan state of Qatar for the last 7years.
- I am looking after both field and DCS operation of NGL & condensate recovery plant which produces 5000bpd of NGL and 36000bpd of condensate. I have got operational experience of gas turbines, turbo expanders, gas fired furnaces, gas well head operation, compressors, (syndyne demag, Mitsubishi, Nuevo pignon.)
- I have experience in pre-commissioning & commissioning of ethane recovery and acid gas recovery plants which is an expansion project of present gas recycling plant.
- Controlling plant process parameters and process from DCS panel and ensure plant operates and in accordance with OPN as will as daily operating instructions from senior operator and supervisor.

- Carrying out gas testing, including determining the amount of hydrocarbons, oxygen, water, H2s, explosive gases.

- Oversees maintenance work during plant shutdown, which includes initialing the permit to work for maintenance personnel to go ahead with the job. For compliance with safety procedures and precautions.

- Liaise with field operators in carrying out various production tests. It shall include checking that chokes are properly set, adjusting levels and pressures, taking samples of produce water, condensate, NGL, lube oil, DM water and process gas for laboratory analyses.

- Liaise with the field operators for start-up, shutdown, monitor and read logs of turbines, compressors, pumps, expanders, export pumps and gas dehydration units as requested or when units have tripped out.

- Changing parameters settings as per production requirements.

- Direct reporting to my senior foreman as well as supervisor.

- Resetting shutdown valves (SDV`S).

- Pressurizing and depressurizing the systems prior to maintenance.

I worked in liquigas as a Panel (PLC) operator/field operator for five months.
Liquigas have a 3 bullet type of LPG storage tanks. Each tank has a capacity of 150meter cu.

Responsibilities
- Received liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from cargo ship to the storage tank.
- Checking tanks levels prior to load.
- Loading of LPG to road tankers.
- Carryout other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in areas under responsibility.

Responsibilities

- Monitors and controls the operation of Tank farm operation, jetty, Refrigerated and Sphere propylene receiving storage tank, refrigeration compressors, and vertical feed pump through DCS.
- Responsible of loading arm operation for receiving propylene from cargo vessels.

- Responsible in utilities operation such as: boiler, air compressor and generator.
- Responsible in drying and bagging of finished product.
