Client: Directorate of Land Records and Survey, Thiruvananthpuram, Kerala, India.

Description: The main objective of the project is to create the city cadastral maps (block maps) from the Field Measurement Book (FMB). Developed the automated process of generation of the maps from the FMB and the block maps using the FMB and the hard copy maps. Generated the maps of the complete ward by joining the adjoining blocks and thereby produce the cadastral map of the city/town/village. Append the holding details and attributes to the cadastral maps. Comparison would be made by generating plots through both methods and overlaying them.
Responsible for: Quality checking and supervising the digital database creation as per the client's specifications and training to team members on the customized tool used in the project. Responsibility also includes handling report generation activities and mosaicing of maps to ward level. Preparation of final data, layout creation, map composition, plotting, and printing of maps at ESRI India's Parwanoo Facility, Himachal Pradesh, India.

Description:
The aim of this project is to develop a database on 1:50,000 scales based on Remote Sensing and GIS techniques. The topographic details were taken as the base data and digitized. The satellite imagery has been procured and georeferenced to SOI Sheets. The actual forest cover of the study area has been mapped using IRS LISS-III image and ground truth data. Supervised classification was performed after ground truthing to get the Land Use and Land cover of the study area with main emphasis on forest cover. Statistics generation and Integration of Spatial database were done for forest management / work plan preparation.
Responsibility:
* Image Processing (Georeferencing and Geotiff preparation and Classification)
* Quality Checking for digitized data and monitoring the work progress and overall technical support to ESRI India's Parwanoo Facility, Himachal Pradesh.

Description: ESRI India (NIIT GIS Ltd.) was entrusted by UPLR (Uttar Pradesh Land Records) to develop Land Record Information System. Initially it was decided to build up an extensive GIS database related to land records through standard procedures, so as to utilize the data for analysis and updating, as well as to generate map outputs. A customized product was developed using map objects to handle the GIS data. Thus the vector data could be put to use for various GIS analysis that were and/or can be performed whenever it is required.
Responsibility: Responsible to carry out the database development work according to our customized product requirements at Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh, accurately. It also includes presentation of data and project report preparation.

Description: CWC had given a project to create a GIS database out of SOI toposheets on 1:50,000 scale by capturing the base details such as road, rail, river, drainage etc. and projecting the layers with reference to SOI toposheets.
Responsible for: Quality checking and supervising of digitized data to make sure that the digitization accuracy matches with the industry standards. Responsibility also includes attribute attachment, transformation and projection of the database as per the guidelines given by CWC.
