CAREER HISTORY
Jan 2005- Till date Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kuwait.
Engineer Rotating Equipment in Mina Al Ahmadi refinery's (450000 BPD) & 1700MMSCFD Gas Plant. Consists Three Gas trains, Acid Gas Recovery Project, Storage, Product Pumping, North & South Pier Ship Loading facilities, Desalination & boilers.

* Execution of corrective, preventive, predictive and shut down maintenance jobs for rotating equipments like Centrifugal compressors, Reciprocating Compressor, Multi stage centrifugal pumps, Steam and Gas turbines etc.
* Static equipments like boilers, Desalination Evaporators, Plate type heat exchangers, Absorber & regeneration towers, Fired heaters, Reformer, Waste heat recovery boilers, stripper, De-sulfurization reactors, Double wall tanks for Ammonia & LPG storage, Floating and fixed roof tanks, FMC make Loading arms (Manual & Hydraulic) etc.
* Review and implementation of Predictive and Preventive maintenance program for critical equipments by considering the Production plan.
* Monitoring the critical equipment vibration using Bently's Data Manager 2000, Proximity probes, IRD hand held vibrometers, Spectrum analyzers etc.
* Life extension study & review of maintenance strategy after identifying and monitoring the failure mechanism -indicators.
* Charting out maintenance craft procedures and guidelines for corrective maintenance to recoup the equipment in minimum repair time.
* Review of entry of Equipment History in CMMS (MAXIMO) and approval.
* Preparation of various reports such as shut down reports, failure analysis, Spares utilization, etc using MS Office.
* Spares planning using computerized material management system MAXIMO.
* Review of Contract documents, technical review of spares procurement.
* Schedule preparation using Primavera P3, MS Project.
* Review of Engineering/project drawings and execution of modification projects.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIVEMENTS
* By the implementation of Life extension program 5% maintenance budget reduction was achieved for Ammonia plant Rotating equipments.
* Reviewed the engineering documents, inspection on arrival, erection and commissioning of rotary equipments in the Revamping of Ammonia plant.
* Overhauling of NUVO PIGNONE make compressors & Siemens turbine in M/S PIC Kuwait.
* Overhauling of TB 5000 RUSTON GAS TURBINE.
* Chronic problem of furious tripping of Coppus turbines was solved by modifying with mechanically operated emergency trip valve.
* The recirculation and wear of Naphtha pump impeller & casing were minimized by provision of Automatic recirculation valves in the pump discharge.
* Hunting of speed in Westing house turbines were eliminated by going for PG-PL & Trisen Governer conversion from VOR & HOR (Hydraulic) governors in Ammonia Plant.
* Vibration problems due to Grease and oil lubricated gear coupling were solved by modifying them to shear plate couplings.
* Solved the seal oil Carry over problem in the Hitachi make Refrigeration Compressor.
* Perennial high vibration problem in M/s Hiro-Zoki make Blower turbine was solved.
* Capacity augmentation of Turbo-blower turbine Dresser-rand make, in IJC, Jordan.
* Carried out Heat Exchangers maintenance (Cleaning & Re-tubing) of Ammonia plant (75 Nos.) within scheduled time of 25 Days during annual Turn around.
* Replacement and reliability improvement (160 x2) of M/s Baker Huges make Belt filters.
* Erection and commissioning of 165 Sq.M Delkor make Belt filter and related equipments (Filtration tanks, pumps, piping etc) within a short period of 30 Days,
