GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Assist Production Supervisor in the co-ordination of all operational activities during the Day Shift and Supervisor-in-Charge for all Night Shift operational activities. Implementations of management objectives and operational plan. Coordinate with exploration team to make strategy for maximum oil out put.

Manage all HSE aspects during the operational activities. Sound knowledge of PTW System, Operational Isolation Standards, Risk Assessment Systems and control measures. Part of the Crisis Management Team, co-ordinate and lead the operational activities during the safety drills and the real emergency. Conduct routine Group Tool Box meeting and regular Group HSE meeting. Ensure high standards of workmanship and conformance with accepted practices and safety standards.
Associated, in the achievement of Zero Flaring through Sour Gas Injection, during the tenure at Abu Dhabi, first in the Middle East, and later during the current tenure at QPD Offshore, first in Qatar.

Evaluation and necessary rectification activities during the Trouble-shooting or Emergency situations. Routine inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure efficient operation and safe conditions.

Forecasting, planning and preparation of yearly Budget for Production department. Preparation of Operator's yearly leave schedule and daily/monthly work area allotment schedule for efficient manpower control. Train new comers and contractors assigned to the plant. Liaises and assists contracted maintenance personnel when carrying out work during commissioning / shutdown or overall of equipment.

Monitor and conduct operator's performance evaluations. Works with Supervisor and Operations Coordinator in developing training and career development plans for those being required. Associate With concerned personals during the recruitment of new efficient Operators.

ONTROL ROOM OPERATIONS:-
Operate and monitor plant parameters through Windows NT Server based Emerson Process Management system (EMERSON-DCS DELTA V) and stays vigilant to observe any abnormalities / malfunction and take immediate measures to rectify the problem independently and as a team to minimize the production losses.
Well-versed with Module Yokogawa(CS-1000 & CS-3000 with the operating system Windows NT) Application for plant operations and Allen Bradley PLC for High pressure Gas Injection Compressors, Export Gas Compressors and Gas Turbine Generators.

Monitor, maintain and ensure that all Process parameters in different process systems are with in the operational requirements and Design capabilities to maximize production/quality-making adjustment where necessary. Actively implements the concepts of total quality improvement. Monitoring well performance and place corrective steps if any abnormality occurs.

Investigate causes of failure in emergencies and acts promptly to rectify the same. Maintains safety of the equipment and takes corrective action in case of abnormalities.

Monitoring Fire and gas system, Risers, CSU and Crude Export Pumps, Degassing Drum, Produced water, Flare and Fuel gas system, Instrument and Utility air system, Fire water system, Diesel storage and distribution. preparation of ETA calculation of Pig and Coordinate during the Pigging operation.

Start-up and monitoring of Gas Turbine Generators (Siemens- SGT-200-1-S, formerly known as TORNADO) and Waste Heat Recovery Unit-WHRU. Carrying out fiscal metering procedures including meter proving of Crude Oil Export Custody meter (Daniel) as per the party requirements and associate with the third party during the Custody meter Prover calibration.

Monitoring the quality of Sweetened Gas, Dehydrated Gas, Export oil & Disposal water.
Observe and trouble shooting of any unusual occurrences without affecting process operations. Controlling gas compression plant and gas injection/exporting system including start-up and controlled shutdown methods.

Fully conversant with all aspects of Control Room functions including ESD panels, fire and gas panels, FM200, UVFD, cause and effects charts, general computer data recovery and inputting information for reports. Proper maintaining of daily log records and DCS Recordings for all running equipments. Ensure accurate and timely production reporting and logging is submitted daily, monthly and yearly as required by company.

PLANT OPERATIONS:-
Managing the safe and efficient operation of 20% H2S rich environment. Field observation and timely reading of all process systems. Associated with the Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up activities of the Project and different packages.

Operation of Gas Turbine Generators, Ariel high pressure gas injection compressors, vapour recovery compressor, Gas sweetening by MDEA, Gas Dehydration by TEG and quality processing in means of controlled H2S exposure and Dew point.

Familiarized with other process systems such as Separators, Fuel gas, Flare, WHRU, regeneration of Amine and TEG, Water injection, produced water processing and its disposal etc. Maintain the disposal water, export oil, injection gas and fuel gas quality within the limit by the quality process operations adjust the process system as per requirements.

Coordinate with all production team for the front line maintenance and Liaise with the Maintenance Group for the execution of all maintenance activities in the best possible manner. Safely launching and receiving pipeline pigs.

WELLHEAD OPERATIONS:-
Coordination in installation, pre commissioning of well head and process platforms. Familiarized with Production Wells (Natural and Artificial), Gas injection and Water injection and Disposal wells. Operation of electrical/hydraulic control panels (Baker, Autocorn, etc), safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas Systems at Wellhead platforms.

Daily optimizations of wells and facilities within the specified operating envelopes and optimize the Well Production rate by adjusting the Artificial sources to maintain target without hurt the Reservoir management.

Fully conversant with wellheads procedures including Placing new or re-completed wells on production, well testing, isolating for drilling and mechanical work. Familiar with the various Well activation methods using for low profile wells. Well testing, prepare and submit the Test report with the comparison of last test data.
Adjust and maintain the chemical injection rate as per the current Oil production rates.

OTHER EXPERIENCES:-
During the beginning of offshore tenure, Associated with production job in Work over, Exploroation testing, and RIH of Production equipments with well strings.
