* The back pressure test data files and IPR analyses of all the wells in Kenai gas field were reviewed and made necessary corrections to the analyses using an EXCEL form from Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC).
* The Orifice Constant 'C', the index 'n', and the Absolute Open Flow Potential (AOF) for each test were determined using empirical and theoretical data analysis methods.
* Generated IPR curves for each test data using Kappa Saphir Software.
* Generated a 2-D map showing the distribution of AOF in the area using Surfer graphing software.

„« Collocated Co-simulation of Permeability in an Appalachian Oil Field
* Generated variograms for permeability (primary variable) and initial oil potential (secondary variable) using WinGSLIB software and fitted the best possible models to the computed variograms.
* Estimated the values of the secondary variable, at the exact grid locations to be used for simulating the primary variable, using Ordinary Krigging.
* Performed Sequential Gaussian Simulation of the Primary Variable using available and estimated values of the secondary variable.
* Carried out sensitivity analysis to understand the effect of Correlation Coefficient (CC) on the simulation studies.
„« Simulation of the thermal response of heavy oils and bitumen in sandstone and carbonate porous media, as a measure of evaluating the effectiveness of microwave heating method of thermal Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)
* Developed a FORTRAN program to calculate the pressure and temperature variations with distance from the microwave-heating source.
* Visualized the temperature and viscosity distributions of heavy oil and bitumen in both sandstone and carbonate porous media using MODFLOW visualization software.
