LNG Plant operator Dubai Natural Gas Co. Ltd, Dubai, U.A.E 1993 – present

SCOPE OF WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Safety Management: Understand, operate and comply with the Company's Safe Work Permit and safe working practices; ensure that all process and related equipment available for operational use complies with the Company's Safety policy.

2. Process and Production Operation: Monitor and control plant operating parameters; operates and assist in the efficient and effective operation of the process and equipments to meet production targets and avoid unnecessary shutdowns of the LNG plant; execute good troubleshooting skills during plant's upsets and shutdowns; operates and controls high pressure gas compressors, expanders, pumps, gas fired turbines generators, heaters and coolers; oversee and assist in start-up / commissioning of the LNG plant, Sulphur plant and refrigeration plant after planned and unplanned shutdowns, isolation/de-isolation of 33KV, 11KV, 3.3 KV feeder transformers Isolation and de-isolation of mechanical moving equipments to make them available for maintenance work or repair. Lock-out / Tag-out of plants' equipments for preventive maintenance or repair. Reporting of operating conditions changes to the shift's supervisor and foreman. Interface with the ongoing shift personnel for continuity of work. Exercise good knowledge of poisonous / hazardous gas leakage and response procedures.

3. Emergency Response Team: Execute Company's Emergency Response Procedures and their application in an emergency as defined in the Company's Emergency Response Manual.

* 35 MW John Brown, gas-fired turbine power generator start-up & shutdown
* Isolation and de-isolation of 33KV, 11 KV and 3.3 KV feeders and transformers
* Log-out and Tag-out system
* Hot Oil heaters, coolers and condensers
* Waste heat recovery units
* Yamatake DCS controls
* Instruments air and utility equipments
* Commissioning and start-up of SRU
* Sulphur inline burners, Sulphur catalytic converter beds
* Hydrogen sulphide reaction furnace, Sulphur condenser, coalescer and Sulphur truck loading.
