SUMMARY
A 34-year professional highly skilled in inspection and project management for the fabrication, construction, installation and salvaging of land, offshore and inland pipelines, facilities and structures. Experience includes jacket installations, platform salvages, shallow and deepwater pipelines, sub-sea tie -ins (including the Gulf of Mexico's first H2S hot tap), ICP fabrication and installation, and all phases of Derrick, Lay, Spool, Bury Barge, and Lift Boat operations, including suction pile installations with ground chains and SSW mooring wires.
In addition, background also includes experience in FBE and concrete coating procedures and inspection of floating roof oil storage tanks. Soil borings, working with surface and saturation dive projects, to include underwater inspections, Sub Sea tie ins, and riser installations. ROV inspections of platforms, sub sea pile installations, SCR's, SHR's, Flex risers, Umbilicals, FTL's, and deepwater manifold operations. Prepared cost estimates for Derrick and Lay Barge jobs, ICP and shop fabrication. Knowledgeable on most offshore construction equipment, capacities and capabilities used in the Gulf of Mexico and foreign locations. Experience also includes welder testing and qualifying procedures for carbon steel and copper nickel in accordance with AWS D1.1, API 1104, and B31.3.

Chief/Lead Inspector (20 years):
Shell Pipeline Co.
Tahoe II Flow lines: Welding and spooling of four 6" pipelines at Global Pipelines yard. Laying of pipelines from 277' WD to 1,172' WD, with four sub – sea production skid installations. Welder testing - SMAW
Tahoe I Flow line: 4" Pipeline repair in 1,120' WD, with sub-sea production skid installation. Welder testing - SMAW
Amberjack: FBE and CWC coating of 20" & 24" pipe at Bayou Pipe Coating, installation of risers at ST 300 & GC 19 "Boxer". Bury of 45 miles of 24" pipeline from 5' to 3' cover, with 16 crossings.
Yellow Hammer: 5" x 16" H2s Hot Tap. Build containment area around tie – in location, dredge out work area, Performed hot tap and hydro, install cover, backfill containment area, and remove containment sheet piles. Project was a joint Shell – Mobil project in Mobile Bay, Alabama. World's first sub-sea H2s Hot – Tap.
Destin Pipeline: Salvaged 4-pile jacket and deck in 303' WD, reverse up-end and lift at WD 140. Installed 4-pile jacket and 1,800-ton deck, MP 260.

Mars TLP: Lead Inspector for the preparation and removal of H & P Rig 207. Rig had flipped on side during Hurricane Katrina. Welding of 3 Trunnions on drill floor at approx. 75° angle for removal., 2 Padeyes on sub – structure to pony deck. Removal of damaged Coolers, Gas Turbines and other misc. equipment. HLCV Hermod.
S.T. 301 B Installed 132" freestanding caisson. Largest in Gulf to date.
W. D. 143 B:Installed 4 pile jacket, deck tie back lift – DB 101, with bridge to W.D. 143 A Platform.
Spirit:Installed 4 leveling piles at VK 780, 738' WD. Co-ordinate drilling rig activities on beach. 10,000-ton jacket launch, Drove 8 skirt piles to 400' penetration and swaged. Installed 4 – 26"conductors and drove to 405' penetration. Dual lift of 2,860 ton deck. Set H&P 100 rig on deck. Fourth largest fixed platform to date. HLCV Balder.
Bud Light: MP 252. Install 4-pile jacket in 277' WD, Set 3,165 ton deck, production equipment, and bridge to MP 252 "Bud" platform. DB 50.
EC 240: 8 pile salvage, 2,260-ton deck, 2,150-ton jacket. DB 50.
VR 200: 8 pile jacket and deck installation. 2,150 ton jacket, 2,260 ton deck. Conventional Installation. ICP fabrication and installation. DLB 28 and McDermott Shearleg.
MP 289 C: 8-pile jacket and deck installation. Unconventional Installation. Drove 4 corner piles first, then 4 interior piles. Installed 30 – 20" conductors. 338' WD. Ocean Builder 1.
Salsa: Install 4 pile, 8 skirts, and 9 conductors. 10,000 ton jacket launch, 2,300 ton deck set. Largest Hydraloc Tool used to date for pile swaging. Fifth largest fixed platform to date. GB 172 B. DB 50
Civit: Install 252' Tripod and deck at MP 312 JA. DB 50
SP 62 B: ICP Platform Refurbishment. Installation of pre – fabricated piping and field piping, pumps, skids, drains, vent lines, and hydro. Co-ordinated boat and material procurement.
SMI 130 A, C, & E: ICP Water flood System. In charge of work on three platforms simultaneously. Installed piping, skids, vessels, painting and hydro. Coordinated boat and material procurement.
BA A-19 JD: Salvaged and re-installed 4-pile jacket and deck, and re-connected 6" Stainless Steel pipeline & riser.
EI 176 Salvaged 8 pile/6 skirt jacket. Removed 6 skirts first, then cut jacket into 8 separate pieces. Removal of two conductors.
BA A-20 P & A 6 wells and removed conductors. Salvage Deck and 8 pile jacket.
Also installed numerous 4 & 8-pile platforms, tri-pods, pipelines, drive pipes, salvages, P & A's, and other ICP projects.

Bonga - Nigeria: Inspection on the installation of 5 – 60' x 20' OD. x 50 mt. Manifold Suction Piles, with 20' docking mast. 5 – 53' x 13' OD. x 49 mt. CDU Suction Piles, with CDU/EDU manifolds. 8 – 51' x 6.6'OD x 32 mt. ULS Suction Piles in 3,800' WD. Fabrication of FPSO suction piles at Niger Dock.
Nakika - GOM: Inspection on the installation of 16 - 14' OD x 85' suction piles, chains, and SSW mooring wires in 6,400' WD. HLCV Balder.
Exxon Co. USA
GI 76: Fabrication of 1,640-weld copper nickel deluge system at Dolphin Services. In charge of materials, welding quality, welder testing, hydro, and shop adherence to copper nickel procedures.
Danos & Curole: In charge of ICP fabrication for Western Gulf. Material procurement, WPQ's, welder testing, drawing ISO's, hydro, blasting and painting, shipping to meet delivery deadlines. Interaction with field personnel.
ExxonMobil: Tech Foreman. Installation of SHR's, SCR's, pulling and testing of flex risers, umbilicals, and FTL's aboard FPSO Kizomba "B". Reports, documentation, and interfacing with FPSO management team on schedules and work forecasts. Angola, Africa.
ExxonMobil: Vessel Lead on M/V Grampian Surveyor. Precomissioning of pipelines, structural, and ICP. Job co ordination with Saipem Milan, ExxonMobil Paris and Houston, and on board Saipem Rep. East Area Project, Offshore Nigeria.
ExxonMobil: Tech Foreman. Saipem 3000 HLDPV. Testing of welders to API 1104. Structural fabrication and demo. QA/QC on top spool installations and scaffolding. In charge of rigging verification and rigging of various lifts. East Area Project, Offshore Nigeria.
ExxonMobil: Tech Foreman. DLB Polaris. Installation of SCR's, Flex risers, OOL's, Suction piles. ERHA Project, Offshore Nigeria.
Saudi Aramco: Reviewed and revised Offshore Operational Procedures for Saudi Aramcos' Persian Gulf operations.
Marathon: Cleaning and Inspection of two 650,000 BBL floating roof H2s oil storage tanks. Iraan, TX
Barge Experience (14 years):
McDermott: Worked as Rigger progressively to Barge Foreman and Assistant Superintendent in the Bahamas, North Sea, Singapore, Mexico, Trinidad – Tobago, and the Gulf of Mexico, on Derrick, Lay and Bury barges.
Brown and Root: Gantry operator on D/B Wotan, D/B Polaris, and HLCV Sarita. Worked on installation of Marathon Steelhead Project in Cook Inlet, Alaska.
