Objective:
Suitable opening in PRODUCTION

Profile:
1. At present since Feb 2001. I am working with M/s RELIANCE PETROLUEM LTD at Jamnagar Refinery complex as Panel Officer in Marine Tank Farm. Dcs used is Foxoboro. Jobs include monitoring and operating storage and transfer facilities of crude oil, Refinery products,like Hsd, Sko, M.S., Naptha, Px, Ox, & LPG. Total storage capacity of 2.5 million meter cube and operation of 4 cargo Jetties and 2-SPMs using Dcs /Acs. Well conversant with Crude and Refinery finished products Tanks operation Receipt, Dispatch, Gauging, Sampling, draining etc. Well familiar with OMIS, TIS, CTM and DBSS used in Tank farm operations. Well versed with advanced safety, fire fighting and fire and gas detection facilities.

2. From Dec 2000 to Jan 2001 worked with GCPTCL as SUPERVISOR at Dahej near Bhaurch. GCPTCL is a joint venture of IPCL GSFC,GNFC, GIDC, GACL, GIIC. It is having a jetty and storage capacity of 3 lakhs tons and transfer facilities of various petrochemicals like cryogenic propane, propylene, Butadiene benzene, LPG, Naptha, Diesel, N-Parafins, M-Xylene. PLC based control with latest software and automation by Allen Bradley is used to monitor and control the complex. Duties include planning of daily commissioning activities, assigning jobs to operators and technicians and contact labors.

3. From Oct 1999 to March 2000.I was working as Commissioning Engineer with Engineers India Ltd. Short-term contract through Alpha services. At Cochin Refineries Ltd. In Diesel Hydrodesulpharisation of IFP France, Hydrogen plant of KTI and Sulphur Recovery unit of Delta Hudson technologies, providing pre-commissioning and commissioning assistance, which includes start-up activities of Hydrogen reformer, oil & gas fired heaters, hydrogen compressors, etc.
4. From Sept 1996 to June 1999. I was working with Technimont Nigeria Ltd. An Italian company providing technical backup service at Port Harcourt in Nigeria, In Polyethylene and Dimerization Butene-I plant of IFP owned by Nigerian Government as EXPATRIATE TBS FOR REACTION AREA. This plant is of Novacor Canada's sclairtech technology with capacity of 2,80,000MT of polyethylene production. The basic operation is solution phase polymerization of Ethylene converting it to Polyethylene granules using zieglar type catalysts. DCS used is YOKOGAWA'S CENTUM-XL. Duties included are monitoring of Multi stage centrifugal pumps, P.D. pumps, Agitators, change over of fixed bed purifiers & their regeneration, batch preparation of zeiglar type catalyst. Periodic change over of adsorbers and their loading, unloading for bed replacement, control room operations from DCS panel, field operations of extruder and distillation sections, furnace and hydrogen, ethylene compressors and many other jobs pertaining to plant operation. Worked as Panel Operator in Butene-I plant of IFP Technology having capacity 22000 TPA. Dimerization of Ethylene to Butene-I is achieved by using the Ziegler-Natta Catalyst system. DCS used is Yokogawa Centum XL.

5. On being absorbed by Reliance Industries Ltd. From February 1992 to July 1996, I have worked at Polyethylene plant of Novacor Canada's sclairtech technology, at Hazira unit as plant operator since erection and commissioning as well as operational functions of successfully smooth running of plant. Having job knowledge of field operations of various process equipment also having good experience of problems found in various rotary and static equipment during commissioning and smooth running of plant. Perform manufacturing operations on plant facilities and equipment following standard operating procedures; ensure proper entry & maintenance of process documents.

6. Initially I joined the Nitro Aromatics at Baroda as Trainee Technician, where I had practical training in Monochloro benzene plant and multipurpose Nitro Aromatics plant during their erection and commissioning.

* Over Twelve years all round experience in the field of Plant Operations.
* Experienced with DCS Panel FOXBORO, YOKOGAWA's CENTUM-xl, TATAHONEYWELL.Proficient with MS Office-Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, HRIS, Internet,Outlook Express and Lotus notes. Excellent speed and accuracy for data entry
* Strong Organizational skill with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a team environment and independently
* Excellent Communication and inter personal skills

Professional Experience:

Main duties:
* To operate the DCS panels (Distributed Control System), according to the operations limits established in procedures or any other officially and approved document with the best technical, economical, safety and environmental conditions.

Specific functions:
* To operate the Plant in accordance with the Shift Leader or the Operations Supervisor orders, coordinating the operations performance with the Fields Operators.
* To manage and control the start up, shut down and functioning of the Plant installations,with the best technical, economical, safety and environmental conditions.
* To control the correct functioning of the DCS instruments and all equipments in charge,making corrective actions and reporting in case of incidents.
* To keep the operations parameters into the established limits in the approved operations procedures.
* To make the data gathering and interpret the indicators, as well as to compile the necessary information for the development of reports, statistical documents.
* To study and to propose operations ways to avoid incidents and anomalies, optimizing the processes from a technical, economical, safety and environmental point of view.
* To perform the necessary maneuvers for the protection of the installations, personnel and environment in case of emergency according to approved operations procedures.
* To collaborate in the studies and analysis of incidents and the reports development.

As Process operator performed the following duties:
* Operate electronic or computerized control panel from a central control room to monitor and optimize physical and chemical processes for several processing units
* Control process start-up, shut-down and troubleshooting
* Monitor outside process equipment
* Adjust equipment, valves, pumps and controls and process equipment
* Authorize or co-sign maintenance work orders
* Shut down, isolate and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenance
* Sample products, perform tests, record data, carry out statistical process control on process operations, and write production logs
* Develop operator procedures for normal operation, start-up or shut-down of unit
* Participate in safety audits and programs and provide emergency response when required
* Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations
* May rotate between different processing units during shift cycles
* May work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities and participate in training other workers
* May be cross-trained in a skilled trade and work in the trade during shift cycles.
