The Ambuja Petrochemicals Ltd., at.
Hyderabad is a Private Company with a international reputation in the Production of Petrochemicals world wide. The current project is Pthalicenhydride Plant. I joined in this company in January 1986. My role is to involve operation of process plant through distributed control system. Responsible for the operation of Pthalicenhydride Plant through TATA HONEYWELL TDC - 3000 control system in round the clock shifts that involves operation of the plant and trouble shooting and also exposed in commissioning activities of the plant.

Responsibilities:

 Control process start â€" up and shut down.
 Monitor indoor and outdoor equipment and trouble shoot problems.
 Make adjustments to keep operations humming along.
 Collect and test samples, record readings and other data,
Run statistical process controls, maintain production logs and write reports, and
Work in teams, sharing supervisory and training responsibilities and participating in work place safety and maintenance programes.

 Rich experience in Operation of Petrochemical process Plants. commissioning of Gas Oil and Petrochemical plants.

M/s The Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd., is a Davy Mckee (London) Ltd., UK advanced technology company. The current project is a L.P Oxo alcohols plant. I joined in this company in October 1992. The APL is business of producing Oxo alcohols (2ethyl hexanol, N-butnol, I-butnol) from Naphtha and Propylene. It is the only company producing 2EH (2Ethyl Hexanol) in India. My role is to involves operation of process through distributed control system. And ensuring product quality specifications, availability of process parameters track record. To prepare daily production report, temporary work instructions and other production relevant reports. The plant operation is controlled by digital distributed control system (TATA HONEY WELL TDC - 3000) and supported by PLC.

Responsibilities:

 Operate electronic or computerized control panel from a central control room to monitor and optimize physical and chemical processes for several processing units.

 Control process start â€" up, shut- down and troubleshooting monitor outside process equipment adjust equipment, valves, pumps and controls and process equipment.
 Authorize or co-sign maintenance work orders shut down, isolate and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenance.
 Sample products, perform tests, record data, carry out statistical process control on process operations, and write production logs

. Develop operator procedures for normal operation, start-up or shut-down of unit participate in safety audits and programs and provide emergency response when required.

 May rotate between different processing units during shift cycles. May work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities and participate in training other workers.

 Aggressively maintain a safe working environment to include good house keeping practices of assigned work area and comply with all applicable environmental, health and safety policies

 Operates all plant equipment/systems with in scope of job responsibility.

 Monitors plant operations via the computerized monitoring systems from the control room. Ensures plant is running at optimal level, by reading trends and paying attention to detail to notice possible problems before they happen.

 Responds to all alarms and malfunctions of plant operations and takes the necessary corrective measures. Reports same to lead operator and customer operations manager.

 Direct to assistant plant operator in troubleshooting and corrective measures when necessary. (Eg.During alarm situations)

 Ensures control room is monitored on a constant basic through out shift.
 Performs other duties as requested, as well as maintenance and all reasonable requests from the lead operator or site manager.

 Pre-commissioning and commissioning of crude and vacuum distillation plant (CDU/VDU). Preparation of checklist and punch list for pre commissioning, Trail runs of heaters, compressors and pumps. The job involves flushing, air flushing, fired heater refractory dry out.
 Distillation columns stripping, commissioning, start-up, trouble shooting getting clients satisfactory reports of pre-commissioning and commissioning of the individual units/equipment’s and over all plant.
 Pre-commissioning of SRU Plant. Trial run of pumps/ compressors, commissioning of FD/ID fans preparation of punch list, check list and attending the same.
 Worked as a senior process Operator for Butraldehyde plant
 Coordination with various departments for smooth running of plant
 I have participated to put off major fire in our Butaraldehyde plant

GULF EXPERIENCE

February 2001 to January 2002 Panel operator for Commissioning:
The Total Fina Elf (France) through Hyundai Engg. & Construction company Ltd., at Iran. Is a France company. The current project is Natural gas plant (Phases from 1 to 5). I joined in this company in February 2001. The Total Fina Elf is in business of natural gas (C 1 to C 4) total capacity of feed 2000 MMSCFD. Raw gas received from two well head platform from off shore ( 110 Km long unman control). The plant operation is controlled by digital distributed control\ system (YOKOGAWA CENTUM CS - 3000) and supported by PLC.

Responsibilities:

 Active participation in commissioning, start-up and Performance testing of South Iran expansion projects for collection, processing, Treating and handling of various Types of light and medium crude facilities.

 Coordination with international vendors for commissioning of pumps and compressors. Trail run of the equipments and Commissioning of flares.
 Pre commissioning of LNG plant at Iran, Preparation of punch list, coordination with vendors for trail run of machinery’s and equipment’s, and successful commissioning of LNG plant.

 Amine unit with MDEA solvent: Acid gas removal (H2s, Co2 )
 To remove H2s (H2s < 4.8 mg/nm3 )

 Dehydration unit (Absorption / Regeneration with TEG)
  To remove water ( Water dew point at 44 barg max. â€"10c )

March 2002 to February 2003 Panel operator for Operations:
The Turkmenistan Refinery through Technip (Germany) at
Turkmenistan. Is British company with a international reputation in the construction of refineries world wide. The current project is a “ Lube Oil ” refineries project called lube ref â€" 11 where the refinery being constructed in technip (Germany)
is primarily for lube oil export under stringent surveillance of
USA standards. I joined in this company in March 2002 who operate as the main contractor for technip my role is coordinate between the company, it’s client and refinery operators on a daily basis. The plant operation is controlled by digital distributed control system TRICONEX â€" FOXBORO and supported by
PLC.
Responsibilities:

 Have wide experience and knowledge in operation of furfural extraction units, solvent dewaxing units hydrofinishing units and vacuum distillation units involved in production of multi grade vgo’s, raffinates and lube oils.
 Acted as commissioning operator for the commissioning project. Regular interaction with other departments and meetings related to safety.

Achievements:
 Pre commissioning of Plants was finished ahead of the schedule and commissioning of the plants was smooth.
 As a Sr.Plant Operator in petrochemicals proper training on safety and imbibing on safety among employees and contract workers averted accidents.
 When I was safety coordinator suggested for introduction of safety awards for suggestion from employees to increase their participation safety related matters
