* Setting up operational shore bases at senior management level on nine separate occasions in seven different countries which included, hiring of all personnel for rig related operation and shore base support, initiating all legal applications including banking facilities, solicitors, contracting housing, office, warehouse and yard facilities, negotiating and entering contracts, arranging transport both land and marine and other logistic facilities, preparing equipment and other third party requirements.
* Instrumental in the development of a Safety Management Auditing System, which allows for the entire vessel crew to participate. The results showing reduction in lost time accident frequency rates below that of the industry standard.
* Industrial relation negotiations with personnel and Union delegates that resolved problems quickly and effectively allowing for zero down time associated with union/employee disputes.
* Key team member, at management level, in the development and implementation of early production system using jack-up rig behind drilling rig as well as unique setup on aft end of jack-up drilling rig with up to 12 well template and Texas Deck supporting early production facilities on board the drilling rig.
* Land rig experience from shallow wells in the USA Midwest to 28,000 feet plus in the Rocky Mountain area as well as Alaskan North Slope and Kazakhstan.

* Working within the Doha Qatar shore base team directly involved with an eighty well horizontal development plan supporting up to five jack-up rigs. Responsibilities include overseeing drilling operations, well engineering, design and planning, cost monitoring and budgeting, procuring services and equipment, technical and commercial evaluation of tenders.
* Latest rotary steerable and LWD technology was used, and many wells in excess of 20,000 feet were drilled with a TVD of only 3,400 feet. Longest horizontal section to date was in excess of 25,000 feet with total drilling depth in excess of 30,000 feet. Many world records were established during the drilling campaign.
* Liners both cemented and slotted were run in many reservoir sections and in particular the Nahr Umr sand stone.
* Wells were completed with both dual concentric and single bore equipment.

* Working within the Doha Qatar offshore team directly involved with a sixty-four well horizontal development plan supporting up to three jack-up rigs. Responsible for all offshore-related operations including drilling, logging, completions, testing, workover, coil tubing, nitrogen lifting, acid stimulation, water washing, liner running, casing and cementation operations in world record horizontal wells. Wells completed in the Nahr Umr Sands, Shuaiba and Kharaib Limestone reservoirs.
* Supervised several horizontal world records with horizontal displacements in excess of 20,000 feet in the Kharaib, Shuaiba and Nahr Umr sand reservoir respectively. By combining Logging While Drilling (LWD) tools and a steerable drilling assembly with adjustable gauge stabilizer, the desired well paths were selected and implemented at surface using real time data. LWD tools reading resistivity, gamma ray, neutron and azimuthal density and porosity combined with a steerable rotating drilling assembly providing an optimum down hole drilling package allowing the drilling assembly to be steered through the optimum zones of six to ten feet vertical thickness.
* Multiple latch drill pipe conveyed (TLC) logging runs were made and large acid stimulation through the top drive system were successfully completed establishing other world records.
* During year 1999/2000 worked in the Danish sector of the North Sea during period of shut down in Qatar.

November 1979 – August 1994 Maersk Contractors Denmark

* Overall responsibility for offshore drilling rig operation. During this period reported directly to head office management of Maersk Contractors in Copenhagen.
* Responsible for start up and close down of offshore drilling contractor operations in seven different countries.
* Areas of operation as a Drilling Contractor, Area/Operations Manager include Australia, Tunisia, Taipei, Thailand, Qatar, Philippines, Indonesia, Italy, West Malaysia, Myanmar, Venezuela (Lake Maracaibo), North Atlantic off the coast of Newfoundland Canada and Danish sector of the North Sea.
* Responsible for drilling units, which include jack-up, harsh environment jack-up, harsh environment semi-submersible and barge type drilling units. As Operations Manager for Lake Maracaibo operations, was responsible for six rigs including jack-up and barge type units.

Toolpusher on Maersk Explorer jack-up drilling in Danish Sector of the North Sea drilling for Maersk Oil & Gas on Dan Field Charlie and Dan Field Bravo.

October 1976 – February 1977 Parker Drilling Contractor

Driller and Toolpusher on large Electric SCR type land rig for Parker Drilling Contractor in Mobil Arun Field North Sumatra Indonesia.

December 1975 – September 1976 Parker Drilling Contractor

Driller in Alaskan Arctic in Arco field at Prudeau Bay.

October 1973 – November 1975 Loffland Brothers Drilling Contractor

Driller on large land rig in State of Wyoming, Rocky Mountain area drilling two deep exploration well surpassing 25,000 feet vertical.
