OBJECTIVE
I define myself as a curious, enthusiastic person at challenges and at situations that can be transformed to improve. The strongest skills I
have got are mainly focused on hydraulic structures, pavements, soil mechanics and structural mechanics and dynamics. The education that I received at my faculty led me to research in other fields like computer programming and artificial intelligence, motivated by the idea of making the process of design more intuitive and less abstract. Thus, we -together with my partner-
developed an application in C++ to obtain the optimum geometric profile of a steel cantilever beam using Genetic Algorithms. The idea sought to get the beam with the least area, restraining the maximum Von-Misses stresses and the maximum displacement at the free end. I will specialize, on the medium term, on optimization processes.
At this point of my career my main desire is to put into practice the technic-scientific skills that I acquaired throughout my academic training, while I continue learning, as well as to contribute with my capacity to confront real-world engineering problems and to propose strategies in order to solve them.
