Brief Summary of work experience and skills:
Operate and monitor plant parameters through Windows NT Server based Emersion Process Management system and stays vigilant to observe any abnormalities / malfunction and take immediate measures to rectify the problem independently to minimize the production losses.
Investigate causes of failure in emergencies and acts promptly to rectify the same. Maintains safety of the equipment and takes corrective action in case of abnormalities. Job profile from June 16, 1992 to till Date:
12 years experience of offshore well cum process platform in different fields of hydrocarbon production activities in the oil and gas processing plant.Coordination in installation, pre commissioning of well head and process platforms. Good command on process control room operations, production planning, oil & gas process plant complication management, oil pressure and temperature data interpretation for forecasting any closure of unmanned platform. Achievements:
1. Detected the gas leakage from the HP Compressor balance line (2") and bursting and major accident could be avoided due to my vigilant attitude and due to habit of taking round of the platform in night or day shift.
2. Successfully extinguished the power turbine burning of the compressor by emergency stopping of the compressor from the field and mobilized the people to extinguished the fire in time.
3. Received " Certificate of Merit" on the eve of the 26th January from Head of Operation Business Group in recognition of the excellent services rendered during the year 1998.
As a Process Engineer:
* Process Engineer at SH-Complex, Mumbai High offshore platform.
* SH-Complex consists of SHD well cum process platform, SHG gas platform and SHW water injection platform. SHD and SHG are connected to SHP process platform for further oil processing and transportation to base.
* Responsibilities are to see the overall operation of crude handling having the capacity of 150,000 BOPD, Gas compression and Dehydration of 22.00 MMSCMD, and Water injection facility of
320,000 BWPD.
* Well conversant in process and production planning, organizing, coordination of various activities and leading team in executing the above works.
* The job involves ensuring optimum production from 23 unmanned production platforms by close monitoring and process control of 3
phase separation, compression and dehydration of gas and associated system and dispatch of oil and gas to shore terminals, tanker loading at SBM in offshore.
* Coordination with various process platform in offshore, shore terminal for uninterrupted oil and gas production with highest degree of personal and international environment safety standards.
Responsibilities to ensure technical service of safe and reliable standards and maintenance of technical safety standards.
* Experience in FISHER DCS system at SHG Gas compression complex and TATA HONEYWELL TDS-3000 DCS at SHW
water injection platform
* Good knowledge regarding the monitoring and control of parameters like pressure, levels, temperatures, of pressurized vessels such as 3 phase separators, knock out drums, surge tanks etc. Also carried out internal inspection of various pressurized vessels.

processor controllers, Dehydration system having capacity of
22.00 MMSCMD (Manufactured by NATCO, USA), 3 Main oil pumps having pumping capacity of 50,000 BOPD each for transportation of oil to shore terminal, 3 crude transfer pumps having pumping capacity of 25,000 BOPD each for tanker loading at SBM.
* Experience in operation of waste heat recovery system, chemical injection, commissioning of 3 phase separators, maintenance of valves such as check valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, safety valves, there calibration and testing.
* Proficient in the operation of 3 Weir sea water lift pumps, having capacity of 1435 M3/Hr. 3 Booster pumps having capacity of
1070 M3/Hr. each. 5 Main injection pumps of capacity 530
M3/Hr. each. Total water injection capacity of SHW is 320,000
BWPD. Well conversant with the pigging of water injection lines and also conversant with the operation of PLC control Baker
Hughes filtration and de-oxygenation units for maintenance of water quality and various chemical used in water injection platforms.
Projects Competed successfully on platform:
- Worked for the commissioning of SHG gas compressor offshore platform having capacity of 15 MMSCMD in close connection with Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd., South Korea and Engineers
India Ltd., New Delhi, India. This platform is a sour gas platform having H2S content of 200 ppm.
- Hydrocyclone hook job to Separators water line and all other modifications required for Hydrocyclone project.
- Commissioning of the new Glycol Recirculation pump from
- New Emerson DCS system Commissionig in the place of old Provox DCS.
- Ejector: Experience in commissioning and smooth running of the Ejector System.
As a Well Head Engineer:
- Experience in unmanned platforms involving opening of wells from Autocon panel, well testing and performance analysis, well activation, gas lift operation, monitoring and optimization, pigging of pipelines, Autocon panel operation, safety systems.
Knowledge of safety system:
- Worked extensively with fire detection and suppression system such as Smoke, Thermal, Gas detection system and Halon release system and fire water suppression system. ESD, FSD loop and its operation with the master control panel.
