2.    I was engaged in the Commissioning and Operation of Maleic Anhydride Petrochemical Process Plants of Thirumalai Petrochemical Plant in Tamil Nadu , India in the years 1987-88.I worked with them as their Shift in Charge .I had operated Distributed Control System panel and I am well versed in the DCS Panel Operations .


3.    I worked as a Commissioning engineer with Southen Petrochemical Industries Corporation , Madras , India .We were engaged in the Pre-Commissioning , Commissioning and Operation of Gas Sweetening Unit , Gas Dehydration Unit and Gas Dew Point Depression Unit for ONGC Hazira Gas Processing Complex , Surat , India . I was also involved in the Erection , Pre-Commissioning , Commissioning and Operation Of ONGC Second Phase Dew Point Depression Unit .I operated DCS Panel in a effective manner .


4.    I worked as a Dy.Manager with UB Petroproducts , Chennai ,India in the year 1990-95 .I was involved in the Erection , Pre-Commissioning , Commissioning and Operation of the Propylene Oxide , Propylene Glycol Petrochemical Process Plants . I always adhered to the Permit to Work system prevailed and implemented Safety measures in all aspects of the entire Plants Process Operations . I operated DCS Panel and I was well versed in the entire DCS Panel Operations .

5.    I worked as a Production In Charge with a British Petroleum Company
in Chennai , India in the years 1995-2000 .During that period I was in the Pre-Commissioning , Commissioning and Operation of Crude Oil / Gas Processing Plants involving Onshore / Offshore Locations .     Details of Experiences

I have Worked with M/S ADMA-OPCO as a Production supervisor in their Zakum Central Super Complex Production / processing platform in offshore ,Abudhabi. We engaged in the production/processing of crude oil, condensate and natural gas. We processed 400,000 bbls of crude oil per day We also Processed 250 MMSCF of gas per day. We treated and Injected 800,000 bbls of Water per day to injection wells .


Worked with M/S COMMAND PETROLEUM Ltd , Chennai , India , as
Production In Charge for 5 years .We engaged in the processing of crude oil
and gas from the shores of Bay of Bengal . We processesed 65,000 bbls of
crude oil per day .     
    
We had DCS Control systems for efficient operation of our Onshore
Processing Plants.
We receive crude oil from our Offshore producing platforms . We had 6 no’s
of Oil Producing platforms and Gas Producing platform . Each Platform has
more than Wells with all Safety and Emergency preparedness .
Our Platforms are unmanned and are App. 13 Kms from our Onshore
Processing complex .
We have our Own Telemetry control systems for operating the unmanned
platform’s .
        
I have operated Gas Treating and Gas Conditioning Plant ( For Dehydration
and Dew point Depression ) of Capacity 2 .5 MMSCUM/Day.
We Dispatch Crude Oil to HPCL Refinery , Vizag and Treated Gas to GAIL
Gas Grid .
    
I was Involved in On-shore Operations such as Crude Stabilising Plants with
Baker Panel facilities, Chemical Injection Section like pour point
depression, emulsifer,corrosion Inhibitor, Gas Compression and
Conditioning Sections, Propane Refrigeration Section,Glycol Regeneration
(Mono ethylene glycol) Section, Water injection and Gas Lift Sections, Crude
Oil Storage in Floting Roof Tanks and High Pressure Export System .
    
We had very efficient Pigging operating systems for our Oil and Water Pipe
lines .
We had API Seperator unit for effluent treatment measures and Incinerator for
solid wastes and disposal .
We had very efficient Safety measures with excellent permit to work systems
    
I was Involved in Operation of Power Generation by two Solar Gas Turbine
Generators (each of 2600KW -Centaur - 40 make ) and Diesel Engine
Generators.

Worked as a Deputy Manager with M/S UB PETRO PRODUCTS LTD ,
MADRAS .In their PROPYLENE OXIDE and PROPYLENE GLYCOL Unit
for 5 yrs.I have very efficiently operated DCS Panel .     
Involved in operations of different sections of Propylene oxide and Propylene
glycol     plants . Loading and Unloading of Hazardous chemicals such as
Chlorine, propylene, Propylene Oxide, Ethylene Oxide, waste air
Dechlorination units, Milk of lime Plant.
I was fully involved in production planning , manpower planning ,
Preparing daily and monthly production reports and executing planned and
shut down maintenance jobs .

Worked as a Chemical engineer with M/S THIRUMALAI CHEMICALS ,
TAMILNADU . I worked in their PHTHALIC and MALEIC ANHYDRIDE
Complex .
I had operated DCS Control Panel . I was working as shift in charge looking
after entire shift activities .

Involved in operations of catalytic reactors, pre-heaters, evaporaters, gas
coolers, switch condensers, vaccum distillation columns with plate type,
trays, reboilers, Heat exchangers, condensers, Vacuum crystallizes,
Ejectors, Kettle type reboilers, scrubbers, Blowers, Steam driven
blowers, centrifugal and gear pumps, reciprocating pumps, Instrument air
compressors, Air drier units, Hot oil systems, O-Xylene and
Benzene Storage tanks.
    
Worked as a Commisioning Engineer with M/S SPIC Ltd , Chennai . We
were engaged in the commissioning of ONGC HAZIRA GAS Processing
Complex I have operated DCS panel and actively involved
in pre-commissioning and commissioning of Gas sweetening unit , Gas
dehydration unit, Dew point depression and Condensate fractionating unit .
    

I was involved in pre commissioning and commissioning of Gas dehydration
unit and Dew point depression units of 5.5 Million cubic meter of sweetened
gas per day .

worked in their SULPHURIC ACID and OLEUM PLANT.
Had operated absorption columns , catalyst converters , sulphur furnace , air

KARNATAKA .
I worked in their CARBON DISULPHIDE and SULPHURIC ACID PLANTS .

I worked as a shift in charge and later was full in charge of Carbon disulphide
plants .
Had operated furnaces, adsorption columns, Ammonia refrigeration units ,
gas holders and distillation columns efficiently .                                                                                                    
        
Job Responsibilites

I was involved in the Daily activites of the Complex such as Meeting the
Production Targets ,in Oil Production ,
Gas Production / Processing and Water Injection with utmost Safety in mind .
Day to day Chemical Consumptions were carried as per the Standards set
by the Management & also as per the Requirments for the Process .

Pigging of Process lines , Water Injection Hearders / Lines , Sub-Sea trunk
lines , Gas lines & Well head lines
To the Processing Complexes were carried out in regular , Stipulated
durations in a efficient and Safe means .

Handled Operators and other Sub-ordinates in a well mannered way &
explaining them the Importance of Safety of the Plant , Personnels &
Equipments. Updating them with the Latest developements and Projects of
the Complex .

Emergency Drills were conducted and Safety meetings among the
Personnels of the Plant were also conducted . Emergency Prepardeness
were always given top priority . Hazards of Chemicals and Process
Fluids were explained to Plant Personnels in time to time for Updating their
Knowledge .

Provide technical and operational support for the day-to-day operations of the
Facility, as required, to ensure operation in accordance with the design intent,
and to maximise value extraction from the field.

Forecast oil production such that sales can be scheduled, and to deliver same
On specification to the customers, as per the agreed contract.

Liaise between the Facility personnel and Petroleum Engineering ensure the
field wells and production Systems operated to ensure optimal recovery of
reserves in accordance with the Field Management Plan and Company
procedures, and the Business Plan.

Liaise between the Facility and Training Coordinator to determine training
requirements. Ensure compliance With the Facility, Safety and Environmental
Management Systems.

Coordinate facility input into the engineering change process. Coordinate
preparation of the Production Operations Temporary Work Instruction.

Recommend, test & implement changes to operating procedures &
production facility to optimize Production .
Improve safety/environmental performance of the Facility. Review and amend
operating procedures and work instructions for technical accuracy and
operability Ensure that any changes to operating parameters are
properly documented.

Develop Plant Trials to optimize selection and use of production chemicals,
whilst ensuring product specifications are met. Develop scopes of work for
studies and plant Modification which are approved and
ensure that the Studies are carried to the highest Quality completely within
budget and schedule.

Provide technical guidance to ensure product specifications and overall
system availability is achieved in the short and longer term.
Arrange for preparation of the Facility section of the Production Operations
weekly and monthly production reports.
Technical review of changes to production operating parameters and
practices to improve effectiveness, efficiency, safety, environmental
performance and reduce risks. Carry out HAZOP as Facility representative.
