OBJECTIVE
To obtain an International assignment as a Senior Drilling Supervisor.
SUMMARY
I'm a competent Supervisor that can work with little supervision from head office. I attribute this to the remoteness of the locations I've worked the majority of my career and the need for improvisation. Combining this with the ability to work as a team player, I feel I can be an asset to any E & P organisation.
WORK HISTORY
Senior Drilling & Completions Supervisor, Niko Resources India (2003-Current)
First Slant well in India to 2,200 m completed with Frac pack, Land based drilling platform producing and drilling 4 wells gravel pack completions, exploration drilling 8 wells to 1800 m. 16 well platform design and tendering ( office based ) installation of platform and drilling unit.
Senior Drilling & Completions Supervisor, Apache Canada Ltd. (2002-2003)
Senior Drilling & Completions Company Man, Drilling & Completing Horizontal wells in North Eastern British Columbia. Re-entry short radius directional, HP/HT, H2S to 11%, 2,310 TVD 3,200 MKB.
Senior Drilling Supervisor, Samedan Energy Inc. Vietnam (2002-2002)
12W-TN-2X Swan Block, 300 miles offshore Vietnam. Appraisal vertical well to 4,328Mkb using a Cantilever Jack-up Drilling Unit, ENSCO #54. Supervise all drilling operations in a multi-cultural envonment. Coordinate Logistics with shore based Supervisors.
Senior Drilling Supervisor, Alberta Energy Company - Canada (2000-2002)
Coordinate all on-site personnel for the Drilling of Horizontal Under-Balanced wells Drilled in North Eastern British Columbia. Nitrogen, Under-Balanced, Horizontal, HP/HT, H2S to 6%and all HSE Policies of AEC, reporting directly to Drilling Manager.
1,500m TVD – 3,000m MKB, 18 wells drilled.
Operations Coordinator, Hughes Christensen - Canada (2000-2000)
Coordinate 25 Consultants, Program wells for PDC and Motor Applications. Trouble shoot for all field operations and Liaison between Operator and field Consultants.
Drilling Supervisor, GHK Petroleum - Colombia ( 1999-1999)
All duties pertinent to Company Man for the Drilling of Directional wells. Wellsites located in the Colombian Jungle near the town of Guaduas. Air Drilling and Directional Applications.
Coring and Downhole Tools Manager, Security DBS Latin America (1996-1999)
Coordinate Coring, Hole Openers, Shock Subs, Jars, PDC and Roller Cone Bits. BHA Design, Logistics Supervision for all Field Engineers. Training in HSE Policies for all field Engineers. Program wells and Liase with Oil companies Operation staff.
Field Engineer, Security DBS Canada (1994-1996)
Run all series of Coring, Hole Openers, PDC Bits and Motors.
Performance Drilling Supervisor, Shell, Chevron, Crestar, Petromet (1992-1994)
Supervise the running of PDC bits in the Rocky Mountain area of Canada.
