Key Responsibilities: I worked on a project to develop a viable pre-treatment process and carbon-in leach process for the extraction of gold from refractory gold dump.
„«In charge of the team that successfully commissioned the carbon in leach process plant, and laid the foundation for the acid pre-treatment plant.
„«In charge of the entire process operations and led a team comprising of five process plant operators, seven assistant operators and three assay laboratory technicians.
„«As the Project Metallurgist, I was actively responsible for the process control and optimization of the carbon-in-leach gold processing pilot plant based on laboratory scale metallurgical tests, design of metallurgical recovery tests based on plant data, reagents calibration tests and set up of on-line sodium cyanide analysis machine and, compiling daily, monthly and annual production reports.
