Company: Joined Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) on 31.12.1996. Serving the company for 10 years in different Labs and Field Development Groups at Institute of Reservoir Studies, Ahmedabad and Field Operations in Assam, India.

M.Sc. in Geology (1994) University Topper with Gold Medal from Udaipur University, Rajasthan, INDIA
Competitive Strength
Qualified for both Geologist and Assistant Executive Engineer (Reservoir) in ONGC and joined as Assistant Executive Engineer (Reservoir) through all-India competitive examination in1996.
Work Experiences
May 2006-till date:
- Field Operation and Monitoring: Well test analysis by using PAN System software. Material Balance Studies. Directly associated in carrying out reservoir studies like bottom hole pressure and temperature gradient survey using Electronic Memory Recorder (EMR) and manometer pressure gauge. Interpretation and analysis of pressure recorded in EMR and manometer through Weatherford software (EMR) and microscope chart reader respectively. Bottom hole sampling, Liquid level determination through Echometer. Associated in Workover job planning, monitoring and Analysis of fields of Assam & Assam Arakan Basin with the help of pressure production and other data.
1997-May 2006, IRS, Ahmedabad:
- PVT Analysis (Phase Behavior Study): Carried out PVT analysis or phase behavior studies of oil and gas samples of different fields of ONGC and outside agencies like Cairn Energy etc. in Thermodynamics (PVT) laboratory at Institute of Reservoir Studies, Ahmedabad, ONGC, for four years.
- EOR: Associated in core flood studies for WAG injection process for Mumbai High and other fields of ONGC in Miscible and Gas Injection Laboratory at Institute of Reservoir Studies, IRS, Ahmedabad, for four years along with PVT Lab.
- WSO: Associated and have basic understanding of planning and execution of water shutoff jobs carried out in the fields of Ahmedabad Asset at Institute of Reservoir Studies, IRS, Ahmedabad
Reservoir Simulation:
- Oil and Gas Reservoirs: Associated and have basic understanding of reservoir simulation of oil and gas reservoirs by using CMG (IMEX) and ECLIPSE softwares at Institute of Reservoir Studies, IRS, Ahmedabad
- Coal Bed Methane Reservoirs: Associated and have basic understanding of concept and reservoir simulation of coal bed methane (CBM) reservoir using SIMUD-II software developed by UNSW, Austrailia at Institute of Reservoir Studies, IRS, Ahmedabad
1996:
- Induction Training: It included basic reservoir engineering and personality development courses at ONGC Academy, Dehradun and multi-disciplinary field familiarization and on-the-job training at Mehsana Asset.
