establishment is housed with modern equipment, machinery and state-of-the-art facilities for undertaking a complete overhauling of marine gas turbine engines and gas turbine generators of the new generation naval ships including the Rajput class destroyers. The establishment is the only institution of its kind in
South-East Asia.

I had been given cash award by indian navy for my invention of a special tool made for removing old mastic from stator part of turbo compressors and the same tool was also made mechanical-cleaning of other parts much faster, easy this invention brought rapid time reduction in overhauling. as i was an important person in assembly team i was also given accommodation in side to stay along with family and it was required for some kind of jobs like mastic preparation, baking as thy are of long process.
THE FOLLOWING JOBS WHICH WERE USED TO COMPLETED BY ME
1} Dismantling TC in presence of QA
2} Defectation and up keeping of records
3} Removing of stator blades&rotor blades
4} Removing of turbine disks blades and replacing of new blades as per weight / clearances
5} mastic preparation & application, baking
6} Buffing of all blades including guide vanes
7} Final assembling of complete TC & attending test trails 8) Recondition of Anti- surge valves.
9) Rotor blade(new) fixing,Removal of torsion bar bush.
10} Rotor balancing re fixing torsion bar by heat treatment 003 check.
I am full confident about each and everaction related to major overhaul of TC 1250.
